Well, I missed ALL the fun..

Daughter had her yearly Pediatrician check-up at 11. I was expecting to be back in time for the main event but we got sent for blood work among other things, and a routine 1 hour Doctor visit ended up turning into a 4.5 hour ordeal.

From the looks of things, y'all had a speed bump in your day too.

You are a young padawan if you dont know Lenny and Squiggy. They are two clowns from Laverne and Shirley, which was a spinoff of Happy Days, I think.

Of course of those you mention the only one Ive ever heard of is the ThunderCats. Matt, where is a pic of the Thunder Cat pipe. I know that was only an unofficial name but it hit the mark for me. I wish I had got that one.

Such a young Padawan, in fact, that you are unaware there was once a galaxy where the word "padawan" did not exist and rather was referred to by some crazy old wizard as "pupil."

Speaking of daughters. My wife is concerned about me vaping around my daughter. I try and keep it away from her, i usually vape in my computer room, tv room or bedroom. Im not to concerned about it, but i was just curious as to other peoples feelings about the issue?

I'd sure worry about it far less than if you were smoking tobacco even in another room.

To me it would depend a bit on a few things:

* Do you care if she knows you do it / how much?

* What type of liquid base do you usually use?

* What strength nic do you vape?

The last 2 are sort of a combo for answering the only small concern I would have, which would be how much 2nd hand nic she might get. If you're doing thick VG with a very high nic level (24-36) then she might actually get some measurable residual. I've noticed the VG (which I prefer, like Matt's pipe sauces or even thicker) tends to linger in the air a long time. So if you are vaping heavily I'd move to the other room. You've removed the worst parts of smoking but kids (in my semi-medical opinion all the way up to 21+) still have issues with plain nicotine while they are growing up.

For an occasional puff, if you don't care if she sees it, then I wouldn't worry at all. Especially if you have a large living room.

If you vape a lot but your nic level is low and/or the room is well ventilated? Same as before, if you don't care if she sees, I still wouldn't worry.

Just my $.02 though.

Thanks for your input...I quit smoking (after almost 15 years) about a few months after she was born. I didnt like that i would have the smoke on my clothes and having to hold her. i vape 0mg juice. i think the juice is mostly VG, but im not sure. My daughter is only 10 months old, and i don't really care if she sees me. I have a pretty large living room, and i only vape probably like 1ml a day so its very minimal. Yea, i told my wife that she shouldnt worry, but you know how that goes...lol... Anyway thanks again for the input.

I had the blackwood pinch in my cart and available for a full 10 minutes at least but I couldn't pull the trigger. Ditto on the cocobolo Billiard, which I have some regret over. However I made my mind up and I am waiting for a dwarf...hopefully next week!

Thanks for your input...I quit smoking (after almost 15 years) about a few months after she was born. 0 nic, large room, small amounts, VG ... you're fine. If you guys ever cook with vegetable oil or butter your kiddo is getting more gunk in her from the cooking than the vaping.
