Why do they say America is a free country? Seems as years go buy the USA is becomming much less and less the land of the free.

the ones who are still asleep watching the main stream media alphabet channels on the telly or those that only listen to the talk show talking point artists are oblivious to anything other than what they are told by those sources -

they are told the gov is our friend and they are not liars and crooks and they are told that we are free while our bank accounts are being sucked dry and our liberties are almost non-existent - of course most of them fall into the pit of believing there is a real difference between the left or the right ( democrat or republican ) leaders and presidents

meanwhile we can't even walk down the street and take a picture or carry a video camera without being afraid of being accosted by police that will tase you if you so much as open your mouth without permission

and they keep passing more laws that can put you in federal prison if you hurt someone's feelings or if you make a picture of the dear leader president that they don't like etc ...

they are trying to make machines that predict that you might want to commit a crime so they can tase you before you do anything etc ...

i think they also would like to detect a criminal gene to test babies in the womb so they can have another excuse to murder them before they are born

True, American freedoms are being lost one at a time , little by little, by our own complacency. We enjoys our comforts, knowing the other guy will do it and he does the same. So no one is there to be concerned and argue the merits till its to late.
We've all for the most become happy in our own little worlds, especially about things we don't think effect us.

I'm not sure if it has been said already in this thread and others but if it has, forgive me...

The ECA, while a small organization, has received funds from multiple suppliers and donators, correct? If that is the case, where is the ECA on this? Has the ECA made any comments or sent documents to the Judge?

Is the ECA really trying to assist the vaping community? Or is the ECA like the politicians and beaurocrats that is agreeing with the FDA and just trying to make a living, even if means not listening or helping those that support them?

I know that the ECA is small and doesn't have the lobbying power like Big Tobacco but do they have a voice and are they willing to use it? Has the ECA been "bribed" to keep their mouth shut? It's not that I don't believe what they say but in the US (and probably most anywhere), actions speak louder than words and just doing a little PR and whatnot is not enough, in my opinion.

While I have considered donating to the ECA, considering the amount of "action" that I have seen or heard, it is not worth me donating or even considering to donate any money.

Forgive me if it sounds like I am going off on the ECA but it is frustrating that there IS an organization that is available to us vapors and nothing seems to be coming out of that organization. It just doesn't seem like they are being pro-active...only reactive.

I'm new to this forum, and just ordered my first e-cigs which I am anxiously awaiting (if they come...?). I've done some reading since finding this forum and came to several conclusions:

1. ASH clearly has no comprehension of how tough it is for people who already have a nicotine addiction and prey upon limited-thinking non-smokers and sucker them out of money to fund their "cause"

2. It's been tough enough trying to find alternatives to smoking without some "organization" declaring from its high throne that we're evil people who deserve none of the freedoms of non-smokers

3. Last time I checked, I was in America and if I want to sit in MY house on MY property and vape, then I WILL. If I want to spend MY hard-earned money on e-cigs, I WILL.

4. Everyone who has bowed down to these ridiculous claims made by ASH need to grow a set. They pretty much gave up on Big Tobacco and Big Pharm...let's go after the little businesses that don't have billions to defend themselves with. Nice. Above board. Cowardly.

I'd say that pretty much summarizes my feelings about ASH.
The email I sent them while drunk over the weekend contained a lot more cuss words though.

My guess, if I were to believe that Banzhole ever even sees my email, is that it just ticks him off more.
Or better yet, makes him feel like a bigger man, making us peons suffer at his hands.

That guy is the king of douchepotatoes.

Those ASHoles are at it again.

That Banzhoff dude, or whatever his name is, has supplanted Bruce Henderson and Mark Aguirre as the leading ASHole known to man. And if you don't live in San Diego, just trust me on this one.

I know about Henderson, but not Aguirre. Is Banzhoff from SD? What's his deal?
