I agree I don't know how all these people are always complaining about power...I don't think I ever go above 4.5 (which is rare)!

If you're not looking for more than 5Volts, get the eVic.

The Provari costs $160+ WITHOUT the battery & charger
The eVic costs $104 WITH the battery & charger (PLUS, it has a beautiful screen and a sleeker design)

I got my eVic 10 days ago and I LOVE IT!

Don't forget the evic works as a pass through while charging also so don't really need extra battery right away.

As for the picture that has to be a pain to carry around in your pocket.

Personaly, I would recomend an extra battery NOW. If you forget to charge it and are leaving, pass through wont do you much good. PLEASE get an extra battery. I would hate to see someone smoke an analog because of this.

Just get a Provari or a mini provari (have both). Now that I have $ I don't want or need anything else. Variable wattage? Wha? Who cares (not necessary). Read all the posts from Provari Fan Boys (and gals) and you'll see why it is one of the very top devices to own. +1 on the blems Buzzsaw, the craftsmanship is oustanding.

I would go step further and recommend a backup device along with extra batteries. Even the ProVari could fail leaving you without a means to vape, or you could loose your device and with no backup you are done till you can get a replacement.

I have an extra battery but I generally don't take anything larger than an ego with me. Exception being when traveling overnight.

Sooooo provari? Lol
I just don't see what can be so much different, if it's putting out the volts it's putting out the volt, right? I understand its more accurate but who cares if you have to up the volts .2 to reach what it's supposed to? I am really curious cause people make it seem like it's a totally different vape! Tempting but idk why!!!

I'd say the delivery system is going to have more of an influence. If your not already into RBA, I'd suggest looking into it. Can be a decent learning curve, but the results are unbeatable.

The Provari is very consistent, from fresh battery to low. Same vape from beginning to end. This is a big point for some owners.

It can support down to .9Ω coils, which I think is the lowest of the VV PVs.

Those are the only ones I can think of that really pertain to the vapor production end of things. Though, not my entire set of reasoning behind one.

Reliability & construction are what did it for me. After messing up an eGo here and there, I needed something stronger. No more loose buttons, wiggling connectors, fear of it breaking from a mild fall. eGos are tough, and not terribly difficult to fix the minor issues, but it just kept happening. At $20-25 each, already on my 3rd I was already in the price range of a decent mod, but had been eyeing the Vari for awhile. They then started offering the blemished and I went for it.

Affordable future upgrades are another. I think its $20-25 and they'll update your provari (not including the atheistic improvements of v2.5). When they drop the V3, any V1 & V2 owner can have it. They don't have to buy the mod all over again.

1 year warranty, with 2 year available. Some match it, I've only seen one other that beats it (can't remember which mod, lifetime transferable warranty though).

It is not a life changing vape. Dont let anybody tell you it is! What it is, is a well made, repairable device that gives consistent performance drag after drag, battery after battery, month after month with a track record that backs that up. The BuzzPro is the only other mod mentioned that has a comparable track record.

We all get sucked into the hype of the latest and greatest from time to time, but there is something to be said for time tested reliable tools.

Yea what's the deal with rba's been seeing them pop up more and more but they seem like a pain, what makes them so much better? It seems like it's the same thing you'd buy that's already premade but instead you have to make it yourself and it's more expensive lol

Long term they are inexpensive because wick and coil material is cheap compared to attys or cartos.

I just started plying with them, I got a DID clone earlier this week and just got my Z-Atty Pro up and running a few drags ago. For me the flavor is cleaner and brighter with these genesis style devices, I have only used the eGo-T attys and cartos till now so there may be other devices that deliver this clean taste, but I get some satisfaction from the DIY of the wick and coil also.
