You want the latest Escribe (8/8/16 IIRC)... it handles all the chips, 60, 75, 200 & 250.
Make sure you close your copy first and just install the new version.

I haven't had time to do anything with most of mine yet but a warning in case this bugs anyone as bad as it does me... I HATE the driver d/l and install for each mod , and the new Escribe did it for the one I tried so far.
Dammit... it's got the drivers already.

Very annoying.
So looking forward to the rest of them.

(I'll pretend there's some minor change that requires it again ... but I expect there isn't. )

No, that one is meant for the DNA200. You want at least:

SetupES_2016-05-06_DNA75(1.0.56).exe

Thanks guys, I'll have a look. Seems to make sense to get one version that does both, but perhaps it's not. I guess I have more reading to do!

The latest early release does both and the one for the 75 does both. The problem was that they were still tweaking the software when they released the 75 so they held off on a real full release. Now they are ready. Just get the Early release software and you will be set.

Thanks, but I still don't get where to download it from. Are the links on these pages up to date?

Konion is the company that purchased the Sony battery business from Sony. Sony has been hemorrhaging money from most of their non-realestate businesses for years. Just another loss leader that they separated from themselves.

It will probably be named Sony for awhile till Konion feels that their named has gained recognition.

Konion and Sony have been linked for at least ten years.

SS316L works a lot more stabile now that I've installed SP3 on my DNA200, initially it was all over the place with this Joyetech notch coil I'm trying out but it smoothened out real nice now.

My battery meter seems to have reset itself though, if I remember correctly it was almost full but it reads just 1 % now. Will letting it run a charge-cycle fix this or is there something I need to do myself?

Upload settings and soft reboot both bring the battery meter straight back.

IIRC On one of my VT133's I just removed the batteries for about a minute and that did the trick.

For a Soft Reboot:
Tools > Diagnostics > Reboot Device > Soft Reboot

Cheers,
Steve

Found it, thanks!

I have a VT200, I'd need to screw it open and disconnect the LIPO to do that. It seemed easier to ask you guys instead, haha.

Not sure what's going on but I had to do a soft-reboot a few more times to get the battery status back again after uploading new settings to my device with the new Escribe version.

But the last time before I changed and uploaded some settings the battery meter was at 0% again and it did go back to the correct battery status after I uploaded the new settings to the device. It appears that it took a while for the new software to take effect but that doesn't make sense at all. Oh well, I just hope it keeps working correctly now.

I've heard of that happening to a couple of people. I think it sorted itself out though.

I just want to make sure you are using the newest version. Evolv released one on 8-5, then another one 3 days later (8-8) to fix a few bugs, The 8-8 is V1.2 SP3. I think it will be alright after a cycle (or 2) or when the mod goes to sleep. Let us know if that isn't the case.

Cheers,
Steve

Yeah, that is the version I'm using. I'll keep an eye on it but it appears to function normal now
