Do the wires come ut in the same order on both sides?
I should probably just keep my mouth shut but here goes. I just got done re-attaching the resistor on the passenger side to the wire on the outside. I checked it's operation at work when I connected them, the passenger side flashed at normal speed and the driver's side flashed real fast (before I moved it). But on the way home the passenger side hyper flashed. I guess I just plain screwed up but like I said I did test that side first.
It's good now anyway. At least there was no smoke.

So what I did with the resistors was 1st drill out the holes in the tabs bigger, put an eye on the end of one wire and chassis grounded it with one of the mounting screws. The other side I added some silicone wire I had for mod making, Soldered on a few inches and used heat shrink tubing on the joint, in fact I double tubed it.
I used them little blue connectors on the socket end....thank goodness.

To be able to get in there and drill holes I use a 4" Phillips driver and used a self drilling screw, then removed it and used a larger screw

I don't know if I still have it but I either have or had a super tiny pipe wrench. I first seen it on someone's key chain..it was that small and the real deal.
I traded something for it if I remember correctly. I should look to see if I still have it or not. I had my truck stolen about 25 years ago, got the truck back but the tools were missing.

no time now but will do later ;)

i've been using aerokroil on willy's ? recommendation ;)

Kroil is very good, I use it and like it. The Freeze is another tool for me. You know how you have read about putting a mod with a stuck atomizer in the freezer? This stuff works similar, gets the metals cold and, hopefully, they shrink and as they do it cracks whatever is binding the threads. Between the a good lube with Kroil and the cold shot with Freeze, you might have the solution.

I'd love to find a wrench like that.

Vice grips/locking pliers and righty-tighty, lefty loosey will make quick work of that.
Otherwise wire cutters and a $3-4 lug for the new battery and let whoever you trade the core into deal with it. Looks like there's plenty of wire to crimp one on.

I searched my roll cab in the house, I keep it in the kitchen, didn't find it. It might be in the tool box in my car. I suspect it was with the stolen tools though.

If you're still stuck Tibs, one of the dollar store torches that use a disposable lighter mite work? Just heat the nut on the opposite side of the cable, careful to only heat the nut it self :) Iv seen them work in a pinch, they can actually heat a small nut to a red glow, expanding the metal & loosing it's grip :)

This doesn't pertain to many but Mini Ecig is back working on the Xvostick DNA60s.
This is from their Facebook page:
"Mini Ecig
Good news! Our electronics expert is back to work. Though he belongs to Covid19 risk group, we negotiated the convenient and safe working conditions for him. He started with assembling of chips and fire buttons.
Stay safe and healthy."

Maybe by December I guess.
