Anybody have info on when Aspire will have nickel coils available for the Atlantis?
I hear they are really good (from one who has used beta version)....

Just got a bit of info from some questions I asked Vapor Shark...... They tell the latest board revision fixes the display glitch in their device. And they say future devices will have the new revision and also will have the "atty lock" feature... thought you VS guys/gals would want to know...

I'm trying to remember where I heard about the upcoming Aspire coils to begin with. Was it in this thread?

The new Big Screen DNA40 came yesterday, and this is what the board always should have been. The large screen shows both volts and temperature in TC mode

- Stable and much more accurate ohm reading
- Much more accurate Temperature Control
- Ability to lock refinement
- Not even able to force a screen glitch

Sorry but other than the ability to lock refinement, none of those points are true that I've seen.
The battery meter has been calibrated differently though and should make people less neurotic.
Basically it's just dumbed down.

I just built one of my large screens yesterday and noticed the differences too. I like the battery meter (doesn't fall off a cliff like the small screen) but I wish they kept the power lock rather than replacing it with the refinement lock.
I never had any issues with the ohms reading off on my VS rDNA40. TP always worked right for me too and I've never had a screen glitch (knock on wood).

Can't lock power now? that kinda sucks. Especially since I haven't had a need for Atty Lock since I fixed my K4 connection issues. At least they fixed that ridiculous battery meter, although I don't really need it with my dual battery Flask, I want a small single battery mod, so I'm glad they did it before I bought/built one.
Hey Bobc where did you purchase your DNA40 big screen chip at? If you dont mind me askin. (I have a junk dna30 hana clone that needs one.)
I just recieved a replacement rDNA40 vapor shark a few days ago and it does not have the software update I must have missed it by a day or two. I was really hopin
for the update my last VS was glitchin like crazy, among other things.
Its very unfortunate these chips are NOT user updateable, especially when spending $200+ dollars on a device. I realize evolv just sells the chip but still.

They said I couldnt exchange it again but linked me to $100+ upgrade
The only US authorized reseller I know that sells large screen but they're out of stock.
