hum, as of today the DNA30 is the latest product from Evolv in the Hana.... Evolv is always working on new stuff and have said they have things coming like step down etc. but haven't given any time frames that I've seen.... I guess anything you buy today can become dated at some point... heck I still use Kick's and DNA20's along with the DNA30's...
In the Video Pbusardo did with the folks from Evolv and George from Innokin- They said the SVD 2.0 will be released in early September. It will contain a custom Board made specifically for Innokin by Evolv which has a 20 watt max and full step down ability,
Sorry I am new to the dna scene and dripping, going sub etc. I see all the guys at b&m's chucking out huge clouds and am jealous. So if I get a hana v3 could u recommend a dripper for it? I've been eyeing the mephisto, magma and the 454 big block
NO !!!!! Your the single coolest thing about this god-forsaken, troll ridden thread.....(If he goes I go- call it southern solidarity)
Personally I don't sub-ohm but from posts I've read and review of the DNA30 specs there is some discussion about the limitations of the technology (DNA30) in using sub-ohm coils. Maybe someone who sub-ohms can chime in on this and also recommend a dripper for you...
.I don't see many trolls in this thread, and you'd be leaving with one of them ... so that doesn't make sense.

Using a DNA30 device with sub ohm coils is not really the best way to utilize a DNA30 mod.
In my experience, a 1 to 1.3 ohm build works better than a sub ohm build. More wraps = more surface area.
Getting to use a larger, higher resistance coil @ 30 watts is the idea behind it.
Building a .5 ohm coil and using it with a DNA30 device is kind of pointless.
I have been vaping a 28 gauge,14 wrap each, pair of coils on my Magma @ 30w for 2 weeks. No problem.I agree, however you can also vape a long time on a low ohm coil at a "normal" wattage on the right DNA. I'm surprised how long a 1.3 ohm (28 gauge 7-8 wraps @ 2mm) can last at 10-12 watts. Maybe I'm a lightweight though.

The sx350 blows the dna30 out of the water... very flexible and rather exceptional engineering..
I hate to say it's better, but it is..flat out. Twice the price though..but I don't think the functionality can be improved...

Ahhemmmmm....Curious how you know what the engineering of the SX chip is like? It's certainly good for a China chip, but that's not saying all that much.
Its performance envelope is wider right now and firmware upgradeability is a plus, but I wouldn't say it's more flexible per se being a much larger package.
There are some other things as well, which aren't so obvious.
Ahhemmmmm....
Edit....oh please, what other things?
Not putting the SX down but thinking it has a ways to go yet.... was just reading this yesterday....Ahhemmmmm....
