DNA, YiHi, and FSK based mods should all work with a 1.5 ohm coil. Others, most of the stuff I looked at from Smok (most because I couldn't look at all of them), Wismec RX200S (up to 1.5 ohm), Eleaf iPower, Pico (I believe all configurations) and lots more.

I think you'll find it easier to simply search on any mod you're interested in, as they will likely handle a 1.5 ohm coil in TC. I would view it as unusual for a TC mod that works with SS to not handle that. Of course, not impossible as shown by your milspec mod. If you find it not posted with the mod's specs at a vendor, you can look at the manufacturer's site to see if it's posted there.

Why not just use regular SS wire... you don't need the NR legs on a Protank head.......

That way you not buying a high end mod to run gas station coilheads.

:rolleyes:Because that's my preference. I prefer to avoid the taste of burnt insulator.

I do this sort of thing from time to time - recoil old tanks/atomizers with TC wire. I usually use TI-01 wire.

The modern Joytech/Wesmec/eLeaf mods have a upper limit of 1.5 ohms, DNA75's top out at 1.4 ohms (not sure about the other DNA models) and while the YiHi spec sheet claims 0.3 ohms I've regulated +2.0 ohm coils on SX350J's.
