That game must be like 16 inch softball in Chicago.
Everyone in Michigan seems to play it.
Euchre party, sounds good to me…I can do 5 tables at my house in the basement, we do it all the time……….basement????? What are we, groundhogs?
Let me explain… First there is a 16 foot stocked bar with a keg-erator, that is 7.5 cases of ice cold beer. Then a 110 inch High def big screen. As far as the band….There is a 1901 RCA victrola, a 70’s juke box with 160 songs, a reel to reel, laserdisk, a turn table, and of course a 70’s pinball machine
Now I know the “young” ones are going “yawn”. So let’s add 3 cd/dvd players, a full Klipsh-Denon surround system putting out a couple 1000 watts with 30 inchs of subs, It is loud enough to shake the jars off my neighbor's bathroom counter next door….Ask me how I know

It's this strange card game with no rules that is really popular in Michigan, mostly with women. Don't interfere with women playing this game... they can kill.
They don't play it in my home town of Chicago.

Not really......I went to the pulminary doctor today for a quickie and he told me I should be able to live a normal life with the Emphysema. Thank God I stopped smoking when I did! I have to go back tommorrow for a full breathing exam. he really didn't think the pains I have been having were lung related! back to the drawing board on that I guess! It's good to know I will be around for awhile....Cozz was worried that my days were numbered!....LOL!

I hear you both - The Wiz and Cozzi ... I guess we're at the stage in our life that our mortality is facing us; aging parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts ... and our dear friends. No one knows what awaits them.

Well, it's obvious that you're not from around these parts. Euchre, my friend, has enough rules to make it difficult to teach to some people and is in no way gender specific.
I have never been threatened by women playing euchre.
I just learned recently that the game was so regional. I never knew.
