Ft dvarw order:
8/28 - acceptance in 17track (ft got it out the door)
8/31 - cleared customs, made it to USPS
9/3 - made it from NYC to Syr (a 5 hr drive, and Syr is a distribution hub - supposed to know how to feed mail to the POs it services)
Now it's "are you feeling lucky?" I live in a town with a PO 15 miles west of the Syr center. The last package which went through Syr got miss-routed twice in the wrong direction [emoji3]

After a lot of back and forth, requests for more pics, etc. FT has agreed to reship all the glass, replace one of the spools of wire, replace the mangled drip tip, replace the broken glass in one tank and replace the other tank all together. I had ordered glass for the OBS mini and paid for upgraded shipping so they are adding all the replacements to that order and sending it all out with the upgraded shipping. Not a bad result, but still a PITA. Let's hope it gets here intact this time.

Oh yeah they gave me a refund but I was still hopeful it would eventually show up.

That kinda Blows. But Think of this way... If it Does Show Up, you will be the Undisputed Winner of the Longest Delivered Package Sweeps.
Placed 2 orders with FT on Aug 31 during their last sitewide sale.
Shipping service selected was "USPS Expedited Service" for a minimal shipping fee (under $3). I had to choose this because of battery products in the order - no free option.
Both orders didn't ship until Sept 15 due to many items not actually in stock.
Received both yesterday Sept 30. So 15 days is pretty good timing in-transit. They are using DHL Global Mail (or whatever you call it - where DHL gets it to the USA and then hands it off to USPS) like everyone else now except they aren't charging an arm and a leg for it like the others. Their prices on mods and tanks are usually higher, though, but I only order parts and accessories and hard to find older stuff that no one else carries and all that stuff is still cheap at FT.
Anyhow, even if you count the 15 days pre-shipment waiting, 20-30 days is about what it always took for my FT deliveries.

2 of the items I ordered are defective. I've never had to deal with returns for defective products with FT so let's see how this goes. I have to upload a video because a picture will not show the defect. But it's gonna be hard for me since I do not have a video camera or smart phone. I have to use the video function on my digital camera.
It's gonna be a real pain in the ....!
