I have stated this before on several threads but I will state it again to clear up the confusion why some people see higher prices at Sourcemore.
SM has 2 different retail account levels: "General" and "Bronze".
Unless you made a purchase from Sourcemore before, you are a "General" account holder and will not see better pricing just by logging in.
SM has this stupid policy where non-established/prospective customers are punished for not being a customer.

Usually retailers use the opposite approach, giving new/prospective customers discounts to lure them in to make a purchase, but SM has a different outlook on getting new customers:
I call it "punishment marketing".
When you first create and account, you are a "General" account and for some products (but not all) you will see higher prices than existing ("Bronze") customers see. You can find out what your account status is by logging in and going to
My Account >>
Account Dashboard
Example from my account:
In order to get switched to a "Bronze" account, you have to make a successful purchase: meaning you have to make a purchase that is successfully paid for AND delivered to you. At that point, SM will "upgrade" your account to "Bronze" level and you can then see the lower prices.
So you have 2 options:
Option 1) Order something that is cheap or in the clearance section or pay the higher "General" account price on the item you really want in order to get "Bronze" pricing for future purchases.
Option 2) Do nothing and don't partake in these shenanigans. In other words, don't buy anything from SM and never become a customer.
I personally choose option 2. There's too much competition out there to take part in these shenanigans. But to each his own. I went back and forth via email with SM about this, they would not budge. They said I have to make a purchases to get the better price. They tried to give me many non-working 10% off coupons to entice me to make my first purchase, but none of them would work. I eventually gave up and said screw it.
