Yea, thoughs are the only places I know of as well.. everyone is out of the 3/32, and that tank site prices are insain for the 1/8 model. I don't even understand that site, then sell ceramic wicks and coil wire, but as far as I can tell all they sell are eGo starter kits. None of there products even use the wick or wire... weird.

I wanna get a real AC9, they should have a new run of the new version 2 coming out within a month or so, I'm hopping the hole is bigger on the new one so it can take the 1/8th. I guess I can try drilling out the AGA-T2 a bit.

the wick hole on the ac-9 is the biggest of any genny, they will definately fit the 1/8 wicks.

Hell yea, one more reason to get it. Plus I think it's only like $120 and comes with extras, opposed to the $150-180 most of the other high end rba's are. Do you know what changes (if any) their gonna do on the next run there making? I heard it had a few updates, but I could be wrong.

i have version 2 and absolutly love it, dont know of any new changes for the next one. i think i payed like 140 to be honest. but its worth every penny. now i will tell you how much i am liking the new fc2000 wicks, i couldnt get any 1/8 ceramic wicks to fit the ac-9, only the 3/32 wicks that fit the aga-t. i have a ceramic wick in the aga-t right now and havent been vaping my ac-9 at all until i get the 1/8 wick to fit it. i really like the taste of the ceramic, better than i like the ac-9 with ss mesh.

I drilled out my AGA-T2 to 1/8". It's *very* close to the center-tube threads at that point (the threads on the bottom of the cap for the center tube) so it's not possible to go any larger, but 1/8" works fine if you're careful not to wobble the bit or go in crooked. I did 7/64" first, then 1/8" to make it easier on the bits (you'll need cobalt or titanium to drill the stainless).

I was about to put my 6x 3/32nds up on classifieds because I was having a bad initial setup with them. I would wrap it "tight" then as soon as I dry burned the coils they became loose. Wrapped again but tighter with 30awg at 1.4ohms and the wick wasn't keeping up. Switched back to 32awg and made a 2.4ohm coil and that seemed to be the sweet spot for me. It's crazy how tight you have to wrap your coil on this, my bottom 2 coils still aren't making perfect contact with the wick since they're not as oxidized as the other coils. Even though there still a good amount of space in the wick hole and fill screw out, I still have to vape it near horizontal when I'm at half tank.

My own personal conclusions are that the 3/32nd is still too small for the Aga-T and that the 3/32nd likes higher ohm coils.

so the 1/8th wont fit the ac9? Crap. I ordered the 1/8th because I was afraid the 3/32 would be too small for my ac9 v2. That unfortunately i guess is money wasted then. I dont want to do any drilling on my ac9 simply because I love this thing too much to take a chance on messing it up.

Okay, so the version 2's are already out... I thought that the new run was gonna be the 2's. Maybe they aren't doing any changes on the new run. I heard they have done 2 runs so far, and the new run they are about to finish up in the next month will consist of more units than the last 2 runs combined... So I should defiantly be able to get one. I hope they make the wick hole a little bigger to accept the 1/8th wick. The size of the wick hole was one of the reasons I wanted the ac9 since I heard it was bigger than most RBA's, but I guess it's still to small for the 1/8th ceramic wicks. I'm going to pick up that unit that was supposed to be a clone of the ac9... although the more info I get the less and less its looking like an ac9. No big deal, I didn't expect it to be much like the real thing anyway, but it's cheap enough to drill it out and not worry about messing it up. I wouldn't have the balls to drill my real AC9 when I get it. I just hope the new run will have a bigger wick hole. Maybe they'll custom drill one for me if I ask.

wait, the ac-9 wick hole is large, it will definatly fit the 1/8 wicks, the 3/32 wicks will be to small for the ac-9. on the other hand the 3/32 wicks work great in the aga-t, thats what i am running in them now. now you can drill out the agat to fit the 1/8 wicks, but the smaller one work good.

yes, initially they like a higher resistance for sure, but after they break in they will like lower resistances. when i set-up the ceramic initiall, i used a hi resistance set-up/ 32g 1.6 ohms, the wicks didnt work very good at all, i had to tip alot for they didnt wick. stay with it for a couple days or a couple of tanks of juice, you will see it changing. it just comes alive, then you can do any set-up after that. did you really anneal your wires good before wrapping? this helps alot with them holding against the wick.

ok good. I was thinking i might have read your post wrong but wasnt sure. I will have my 1/8th wicks on Friday. I just wish I could find a good step by step video showing set up with these wicks. This will be my first time messing with them and if it is anything like my first foray into SS this is going to take me forever.

Yeah, I've been hanging a fishing weight on one end while going over the wire once with a chef's torch. Btw, is your fill screw in or out? Right now mine is out and because the wick is pretty small for the aga, juice does seep out of the wick hole during the tilt and eventually out of the air hole.

fishing weight? sarcasm? my fill screw is out, and until the wick is broken in its almost unvapable. i think this break in period is a big problem for people who just have 1 mod, if i didnt have a few, i probably would of gave up. so i set it up knowing that i would probably not be able to use it for my all day vaping mod, because of the info that was told to me. yes at first it really doesnt perform, the wick drys out after like 3 pulls, so i just kind of vaped it here and there for like 2 days, while vaping regularly on my other mod. i to was going to just throw them away, until on morning it was working alot better for i was able to get like 5 pulls before drying out, then later that day it was really working good, thats when i took off the 32g and put on the 30g. i did a 4/5 wrap to 1.2 ohms, i am vaping this at 4.1volts, now not only is it wicking great, it can flood as well, if i tip it to much it over wicks. now i normally tilt my gennys anyways, not to horizontal but like a 45 degree angle which seems normal. if you dont usaully tilt and hold the mod vertical(which is very weird) then the wick will not wick as well as ss. with my 500 mesh i can hold my device vertical and it will just keep on wicking, but the ceramic wont do that, you do have to tilt slighly. so yes the juice will drain out the side now, until it breaks in, but when it does break in it wont do this. if you had better results with the 30g in terms of the coils firing evenly and no hot spots then i would put the 30g back on and just dont expect much for at least a tank, maybe a tank and a half. just tilt to a position that doesnt leak and like i said it will not perform very good like that, but if you have another mod, it doesnt really matter, just take a vape here and there. but if you are not getting any hot spots with the 32g, then just stay with it for a while, i promise you wont regret it. now if this is your only mod, then your kind of screwed, for the ceramic wick sucks for a couple of tanks, so this wick might not be for you.

you know i think i will do a video tomorrow on these wicks, thats how much i really like them. now if you only have 1 mod, its going to be hard, for the ceramic wick is nearly unvapable for the first tank to tank and a half. i mean you can get a vape, but like after a pull or 2, the wick drys up, then you have to wait till it replentishes. i know i couldnt have gotten by if i didnt have another set-up. this is the only draw back to these wicks that i have encountered so far. i also cant wait till i get my 1/8 wicks so i can make a set-up with my ac-9. if i am getting such awesome results with the tiny 3/32 wicks in an aga-t, then the ac-9 with 1/8 is really going to rock.

Nice, I was hoping it would fit the ac9. I knew it has a bigger hole than most. But I was getting mixed answers as to weather or not it would actually work with the 1/8th ceramic or not.

Lol, no sarcasm intended, I really do use a fishing weight. I tried weighing down the wire during the torch before with tweezers but it wasn't heavy enough for 30 and 28 awg. Not sure about the actual weight of the weight but is branded with a #2. And weighing it down while torching the wire results in a needle straight wire which I found much easier to work with than just normally heating up the wire while not weighed down.

I plan on swapping out to 30awg low ohm wrap on Friday. I've only been able to run about 1 1/2 tanks worth of juice through it so far. I have another aga-t+ with some SS that's currently keeping me busy throughout the day.

I received my packs today... was so eager to test I forgot boil them! is that bad?
.9 ohm 3.7, took half a tank to really settle...now its blowing thick and silently! i'm about 10ml away now. best vape until now and I mean I have a nasty ss setup that I thought could never be defeated...
downer: 1,5" is too short for the AC9... fits the DIDs spot on...
why am I not experiencing the days of nightmare everybody's referring to?
