hey guys, you know when i used to vape ss mesh i always used 28g wire. so i have done many 28g set-ups on these ceramic wicks, but still go back to the 3/32 wick with 30g wire, 4/5 wrap@1.1Ω. i just have found that the 28g is just a little to slow on ceramic, i have done a 2/3 wrap and a 3/4 wrap of 28g and although they are good they are just not as good as the 30g. so i just dug up my 29g wire and did a 3/4 wrap@ 1.0 Ω, this set -up is by far the best of any set-up i have done yet on ceramic. it has the flavor of 28g and the quickness of the 30g. ceramic takes a bit more time to get up to temp compared to ss mesh, this coupled with the thickness of the 28g, just makes for a slow heat up, this is why i think the 29g works a little better then the 28g on ceramic. also it seems like every time i set up my wick where it is just below the pp instead of above, it seems to wick better, also if the wick is below the pp the wraps are closer together, and this seems better as well. so i think a closer wrap in a smaller area is wicking better then a more spread out wrap in a longer section. has anyone had similiar results?
I just did a 6/5 wrap on a 3/32 ceramic wick I put on my Darwin set to 5 wats and the screen reads 3.2v 3.0a. 1.0 ohms it takes a couple of seconds to heat up but I can watch my battery indicator drop to almost zero first couple drags was OK but after that nothing but throat burn there isn't any hot coils when I fire it but I can't get the ohms up guess I'll try a 7/6 or a 8/7 next if I don't break the wick that is . How many battery's can I look forward to going threw in a days time at 3.7 v
