Hey Elias, hows this look :)

The pos post is just a stud you can touch the wire to to pulse the temp of the wire. The neg screw supports the wick from breaking due to tension and provides neg continuity. By unscrewing the bolt you can lay down perfectly spaced hot wraps depending on the pitch or TPI of the threads of the bolt.

Heh now thats nice, using the bolt to pitch the coil, tension support of the neg post, constant voltage due to neg post and pos post distance regardless.... heck at this rate someone is going to come up with a jig that wraps itself

This is nice Dan, Im an Electrical Engineer and I would have never come up with this setup, I always over engineer the electrical side of things, looking at this it's so obvious and straight forward to set up and from an electrical point of view keeping the things that matter constant this will work.

this has got ticks in all the boxes, have you tried it yet, I cant see anything that could stop it from working

Well done...

Elias

the vamo is in rms mode, which goes up to 15 watts. its lighting on fire as low as 4 watts! nothing wrong with the vamo. also 2 imr 18350 batteries

hey perfect, these wicks won't give you vertical wicking like mesh bro...
try to feed the mesh something like a 1/4 tank by tilting the head down to 4oclock.... see how it behaves than slowly come back to 3oclock.... and vape at 3 at least for a day until u have that wick broken in...

edit: 8V? LOL

yup, i just tested it on my silver bullet, no kick, with a fresh 18650 imr, and sure enough, its not cooking like that. guess all this time strugling with cotton and ss wicks, it was my vamo going into overdrive. got it from vaper break a few months back. time for a new vari-volt i guess.

EDIT: ok, the wick works great in my silver bullet... tastes really good! but alas... i just put up my SB for sale this morning , lol. got to get another VV mod. this thing was too big anyway. can anyone recommend a smaller one that isnt 260 bucks?

well i do tilt it when i take a hit, but the wick is on the other side, so every vape, im tilting away from the wick. but yea, the 8 volts is just the battery strenth, not the output, lol
hmm that won't work either if the wick is up there...
whether you wick is really dry or ur vamo vamos ala playa lol
