This just a feeler for Propylene Glycol Co-Op.

$1000 for a "99.9% Food Grade Propylene Glycol USP Kosher DRUM" that will be repackage in 1-gallon containers. Each drum will generate 55 gallons. It will take supplier approx one week from order date to work.
Supplier quoted "free shipping from them".

We need enough interest for 55 gallon increment orders. (ie. 55, 110, 165 gal).

MSDS: DOT Classification = Not regulated in US or Canada. A print out of MSDS would accompny each repackaged gallon. Meaning we dont have to use HazMat labled boxes, or special shipping treatment.

Option 1: Corrugated 1 gal box (6x6x12.75) each $0.28 - in 25 segmts = 75 boxes for $21
UPS Ground Shipping FLAT boxes to 64138 = $20.56
Total $41.56 - breaks down to $0.55 each box.

UPS Ground Shipping boxes to 64138 = $26.97

Comes out at $36/gal delivered using FedEx ground (to central NY), at single gallon pricing. Price drops if ordering several gallons at a time.
Premier1Supplies runs $19/gal, not sure of their S&H.

You can get PG at farm/ranch supply stores for less than $30 gal.

Duda specifically states foor grade, Kosher, and USP, and includes both Certificate of Analysis (chemical purity) and Kosher Certificate.
Premier1supply doesn't list that, however the product is explicitly propylene glycol USP -- USP sets a standard of purity.

You can get a gallon of USP PG shipped for $35.86 from Essential Wholesale Propylene Glycol USP
Good pricing on smaller amounts as well. And remember once you rebottle it, it's no longer USP certified.

Yep USP is the ticket and here is another supplier that is cheap.

4 gallons for $54. Plus shipping but their shipping is cheap and you will have to have shipping fees anyway for anyone who gets in on the 55 gallons plus the cost of bottles and boxes.

Our local tractor supply sells PROPYLENE GLYCOL, U.S.P. in a gallon jug for 24.99. You may want to check out your local tractor supply store for it Think I need to go get me some to go with the three gallon of VG I have LOL.
