RN4081 - try RN4081 cartomizers. If a 7-11 near you sells ecigs see if they have njoy Npro aka 2-n-1 carts (are cartomizers - they screw on). Else order one pack of prefilled cartos from AZSMokeFree.com or Njoy or Smokestik. If those work then there are blanks around too (Vaporkings.com, Goodprophets). RN4081 has the same threading as DSE108 and DSE103. And AZSMokeFree has manual RN4081 batteries which I think should be totally sealed on the threaded end and very safe from getting damaged or killed by juice leaks the way autos often are. This becomes more important when you are refilling cartomizers which will occasionally leak onto the end of the battery. Manuals also make it easier to get a good hit.

and if that does not work try 510 threading in case it is an L88b or other 51-threaded device. Vaporkings.com has some prefilled Boge standard resistance cartomizers for 510. Try a pack of those. if it ends up being a 510, I recommend switching to Joye brand 510 manul, 510 mega xl manual, or the fat long charge models Ego or the popular clone Riva 510 (Riva 510 best bought at Liberty-Flights.com where they are 3.7v)

I'm pretty sure (not 100% though) it's a 4081 cartomizer from the caps on the top piece (atty/carto). It's similar to a SmokeStick. It's compatible with a DSE-103 atomizer as well. This video will show you how to use either an atomizer with cartridge or the cartomizer:
AquaVaporCig Classic (RN4081) Ecig - YouTube

If it is, you can buy cartomizers, atomizers and batteries for it here (and several other places, just search the forum and Google)
All in one cartomizer for RN4081 (Njoy NPRO or SmokingEverywhere Gold) electronic cigarette (prefilled or blanks)
and all products for 4081 RN4081 (Njoy NPRO or SmokingEverywhere Gold)

Here are some good pics of a DSE108 http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/standard-e-cigarettes/35010-review-dse-108-e-cig.html I don't think that's it.

Your best bet is to get it to a supplier or social group to look at.

Now, pop the top off of the atomizer/cartomizer and tell us what you see inside it. Is there white filler, a center tube and a little wire wrapped into the tube area? If so, it's a cartomizer.

I think it doesn't really matter exactly what it is right now. What matters is what fits it.

Try RN4081 cartomizers (fit RN4081,DSE103,DSE108) and if they don't work try 510 cartomizers (fit 510,L88b,306)

I gave you company names above where you can get prefilled ones of each to try. Hopefully one of those will fit and it won't be the mystery female-threaded model someone else fruitlessly tried to fit. Yours looks different from his so your most likely fit is RN4081 threading

Note - Whatever fits - that does not mean your batteries are electrically compatible with other model same-thread batteries. SO for example, if you have 510 threading, your batteries may still be reverse electrical polarity from real 510 batteries. So if you add other model same-thread batteries to your setup, label your chargers and only charge models in their own chargers

And get some eliquid. I recommend you buy a few levels of nicotine eliquid. Overuse of nicotine can cause rapid or irregular heartbeat so you want to avoid that. If he is happy on a lower level (like 16-18 instead of 24 etc) it will be easier to avoid overnicced symptoms. And VG liquids are very hard to use in cartos. Get high PG (80PG/20VG is a good blend for standard stuffing cartos)

And VaporsearchUSA.com - you can use this to look for local shops in case you have any good ones near you

And consider buying another model with more battery charge and more common supplies. As someone else mentioned, the Riva 510 or the Egos at Liberty-Flights.com are great long-charge models and the most popular cartomizers for them are the Boge 510 blanks (if you shop there, press the 20% off upper left front page first).

Or for slim models, the most popular are Joye brand 510 manuals or mega xl manuals (these can use 3 ohm Boge cartomizers) or for a model with prefilled cartomizers see SmokelsssImage Volt (also Halocigs G6 and Bloogplanet Maxxfusion) and Vapor4Life.com, and I recommend the standard aka 78mm manuals (about 120mm long with a cartomizer attached, and these can use a DSE901 atomizer and drip tip for testing juices)

Call the 7-11's near you and see if any have ecigarettes. If they do, ask if the have carts for the Npro or 2-n-1 model (Njoy - it has 2 possible names). If they do then those may fit what you have. ANd if they have ecigs at all - go see what they have - may be some cheap model that would work for now while you order stuff.

You could also check your local tobacco shops - some have weird models or disposables. And some people find ecigs at gas stations (usually disposables). Any of those would hold him until you either buy cartos to try and eliquid or optionally a new model with cartos and eliquid.

Dormouse - no 711s near me so want to try ordering the RN4081. At Smokestik it looks like a 5 pack for $20 plus shipping. Am I correctly understanding that AZ Smoke Free it is only $5 for a 5 pack? That doesn't sound right - afraid I am buying the wrong thing. You say cartomizer but what I am looking at buying from them says cartridge.... Same - same?

Well then again maybe it does Hellen.....I was misreading his labeling. Ugh - OK maybe I should start calling local tobacco shops and try to find someone carrying it if possible. I am afraid if I keep buying off the net without understanding what I got I could buy all day and not hit the right thing. I guess I also have to try to get a grasp on the liquid so I can consider refilling. Read about it in the library but need more research.

If it holds juice and screws right on the battery, that is a cartomizer. A cartomizer is a combined disposable cart+atomizer. If you want ones you can definitely refill then you buy blanks or prefills that say they are soft-cap. You should be able to get 4-7 days use out of one cartomizer with thinner clearer juices. Some prefills have hard or glued on caps and are hard to refill in a way that wont leak.

Cartridges needs an atomizer: battery + atomizer + cartridge (cartridges can usually be refilled a lot but atomizers need to be kept clean and can degrade or stop working)

You can use either setup on the RN4081

Remember you do not yet know for sure it is RN4081 so don't buy a lot. Or buy a whole kit plus cartomizers, juice and and manual battery too. Only charge these on their own charger to be safe.

Dormouse - I'm 99% positive the DSE108 isn't compatible with the RN4081. I'm pretty sure the DSE108 is 901 compatible though. DSE103 is compatible with the RN4081.

RN4081 is also called SE Gold, NJoy, Npro, Smokestik. The BE103 works as well, and can be bought here (get a manual battery eventually!!) mini e cigarette BE103/DSE103 series Liquid won't go in the center of the manual since it's sealed off (the auto battery requires air to engage the voltage so is open to liquid getting inside of it and it can ruin the battery.

More on the RN4081 is here in this model specific forum RN 4081 *Super Mini*

I dug out some NY social group info. from another vaping forum (that we can't link here :glare:) for you:
