pbusardo did one on the SID. I just ordered one. I have the Vamo also, love it but got the SID because can you 510 or ego's without an adapter.

The vamos they are making now will fit and 510 and ego without an adapter... Just picked one up the other day. It's the old body style, but with a tinted screen and bigger drip well... My T3's fit with room to spare...

My first 'big rig' ecig purchase was the sigelei Stainless Zmax Telescopic v3. I like it a lot. Went to get another and couldn't find it in stock. Then I found a Vamo v3 and its really not as ugly in person. The spirals make the grip more secure. Don't have to scroll thru a menu for voltage changes and resistance checks. I wish it was telescopic like the Sigelei. The Vamo v3 has one tube for 18650, one for 18350. The oled display is dimmer than the Sigelei. But operating the Vamo v3 is so quick and simple IMO.

I am a die hard carto tank guy, and am getting ready to order a Vamo. But I keep hearing problems with using 510/ego threads with the Vamo? Does the Vamo work well with (Boge) carto tanks?

No problems with v3 here. The v3 has ego cone threading too. The v2's I've looked at didn't seem to have them.

I've seen a couple of reviews on this and it seems the raised 510 connection leaves a sizeable gap. Is that something you noticed? Have you tried to fix or don't care really?

Any lower on the 510 and you'll need toppers with air flow cuts, or an air flow controller. No, it's right there. If I could figure a way to measure it with my digital micrometer, I'd give the exact separation. It's almost a flush mount and certainly no higher than a Vamo (just checked).

I have the Vamo also, love it but got the SID because can use 510 or ego's without an adapter.(I like my Kanger T3's) yes he did discuss the issue with the threading, but I think I can deal with that. Guess I will see. I am always looking for something new. I just paid 53.95 for mine from EC Blend and I needed my favorite juice from them anyway (Dragons Blood WOW). But I cant remember the site that said they would have it Monday for 39.99 but I didn't want to wait until Monday to order so I just paid the extra on June 20th. I should have mine by Tues or Wed before my vacation. Hope its as good or better than my vamo.

You can use Kangers on the Sigelei. I use them every day without issue.

I dont like the looks of the Vamo V3, I am ordering the V2...
It's not as ugly in person as you'd think. Mine just has the divots at the top, no rhinestone thingies. I do think it would look better in stainless but I've yet to see one. Initially tried to find a black chrome too but couldn't find one for sale when I found this one. I have a few Kangers also which require the Ego cone threads. Yeah, the v2 probably looks better but the quirky looks of the v3 have grown on me a bit.

I have to give a thumbs down to the SVD on personal preference, which I hate doing. I REALLY wanted to love the SVD I got, but there were a couple things I couldn't get past.

First, I found the groves on the battery tube to be cut uncomfortably sharp. Not like they're going to cut you sharp, but rather just uncomfortable. Second, I just couldn't get used to the button arrangement and sizing. The "+" and "-" buttons are smaller than the fire button, but the difference isn't enough for me. I'd find myself hitting one or the other all the time when reaching for the fire button.

It really breaks my heart, because I loved the display, the fire button, the removable skirt, and the fact it telescopes. It's also just a super nice looking device.

I vote Vamo.
