First Mi Vape-In is "Official"

Okay - so I am a total newbie when it comes to vaping. My first kit was a blu which I sent back after two weeks - I was totally dissatisfied with everything. I have been vaping with the Sidesho for just over a month and am totally happy with it. I recently acquired very cheap KR808D kits at $20 each with free shipping but definitely do not like the bog standard cartos (in blister packs) that came with them. 16mg tobacco which I find extremely harsh.

That brings me to e-juice/liquid. I have a hard time with PG and, as I have a plentiful supply of VG, I have just started experimenting. I have flavoured Capella drops, which I use in other applications, and have added them to a 36mg PG based (cigar) flavoured liquid, with a few drops of VG and vodka thrown in. Not bad so far.

What I am wondering is - the local MI vendors who will be at the MI meet up ... do you have VG based unflavoured e-juice/liquid in various nicotine strengths that can be purchased?

Next time I will for sure, so you better be at the next one too. I hope next one isn't so far away. There is a lot of possible business in the tri-county and Washtenaw area that vendors can benefit from. I can't believe how many more ppl I see on campus and at the clubs with e-cigs since the ban.

Kookie......KatyS from The Smokelessshop will be there for sure(not sure if she will be setting up a table for selling or not),and Jaybird from GreatLakesVapor said he would like to be there(more so as another fellow vaper...although you can get a look at the GLV-2 up close),Other than that..there have not been any other confirmed venders showing up as of yet...But I will post here if things change!

I would look at this as more of a social gathering for Mi vapers.

Wiz... Really? Well then that would be nice. (Would love to buy things without shipping.) I really do want to see the GLV-2 up close. (It looks wicked and I would like to understand the difference in the high voltage route.) I can't afford one just yet. Been unemployed for the last few month here. I would really like to try different flavors I've been reluctant to try. Would that be an option (at least between each other)?

It would be nice to discus some of these vaping questions / issues in person. Easier than in these forums.

Yes... you know, I would like to attend. I hope my finances would allow me to do so. We will see and I will let ya' all know if I can come up there. (It is only 45 minutes away @ about $9 in fuel, but I need new tires bad.)

I hate to be a Vapor4Life pimp (and a bad pimp at that, I don't get paid, ack) but, I really like the CoolCarts for the KR808. They are a little bit larger inside and hold a bit more liquid. Also, they have the rubber end. V4L is in Chicago. I am totally in love with the Wowboy flavor from V4L.

You should look at some of the DIY sections. There are some sites devoted to DIY supplies as well. Maybe we will be buying e-liquid from you, lol.

Hi Alpha.......I know that they open at Noon on Saturdays and we will be in the Tiki Bar.....I am planning on being there between 2 and 3pm myself. I'm usually one of those come early/leave early individuals....but who knows on this event!

I can't confirm that he'll be there or not but when I talked with Harry from vapor bomb about it, he wanted hotel info. Since he really can't load up his lab and he mixes to order I guess he'll be there to chill out and vape with us.

Come on MC57.....This weather is nothing were not used to..LOL!! I'm sure that Katy has been there several times...and this will be a rain or shine event. I saw the menu from the site...Looks like typical bar food to me...they do have Pizza(Thats always a plus). I'll get with Katy later today and see if she has any additional info!

So that means that I don't have to get up too early and won't have to drive in the dark. I'm not much into staying overnight away from home. Hmmm, if life is wonderful when I wake up that day I'll be there!

It's a bit out of range for me. I live pretty close to the bridge and to be honest, I can't stand going down state anymore. Not to offend anyone, but I just can't stand the traffic and the way people drive. Plus I'm holding my two old hoopties together with duct tape and binder twine.
