Might get some of that magicwick from Arthur next time I order something.
Couldn't get the flooding to stop with the clone no matter what so beign short tempered been using it with the dripper, issue solved! (And o-ringns beign looser is just a good thing for a dripper since I remove the cap when filling to make sure the wick is wet.
So in the end money well spend though I will be getting more originals when possible.
With the quest for the perfect atty now laid to rest (maybe goliath, though) now I need is a TC/TP-mod.
Flask-clone could be the one I'm looking because with one 18650 in my K-Box I barely make it through a workday and do think TC might drain the battery a bit more than my 35 watts.
Then again are there any serious alternatives in "less than a hundred bucks"-category?

I saw how the braided string worked for you and figured it was because it stays tight and doesn't expand to fill the hole like loose fiber would.
So its going well so far. Of course it will take some fiddling. Biggest issue is keeping them from falling out.. I think fatter tails in the chamber will help..Will play more later.
What about the coarse aquarium filter pads they use for the GP Spheroid would those work as feeder wicks?

Flooding shouldn't be a problem. I think your doing something a little wrong.. Take baby steps adjusting the feeder wicks next time. They just need to be the right size.
I'm using a year old tobeco v2 clone.

So that is basically a straw that fills the feed hole except for a 1.2mm opening down through it?This.
I was using mesh feeder wicks with a 1.2mm hole and 80vg juice. I decided to try some mesh with a 1.8mm feeder hole. It didn't leak on me but it was feeding too fast. So much so, that I could see bubbles rising when I wasn't using it. Went back to 1.2mm holes in the feeder wicks and it works just perfect.
You just have to experiment to see what works for you.
