I think the following paragraph from flavourart is a little worrying, not for us long termers but for people new to vaping.....I know it says consuming but I think it could be put a little clearer....IMO

Current research indicates that there may be a potential health risk to individuals who are repeatedly exposed to high concentrations of diacetyl vapors for an extended period of time, such as individuals who work in facilities that manufacture or use certain flavorings containing diacetyl. However, these concerns do not apply to the average person consuming products containing diacetyl.

It is my understanding that Lorann flavors do not contain diacetyl. Someone somewhere here called them and were informed of this. Anyone on top of this issue able to verify this? I was going to put an order in to Lorann, and one of the flavors was to be butter flavor.

By the time were done cutting our juice the amount of diacetyl that is actually in our juice is such a small amount it's ridiculous. The concirns are for people that are exposed to a high amount over a long period of time. The low amount we're exposing our self to I don't think is a concirn. Heck, Salt, Iodine, Caffene, and a whole host of other things we consume on a daily bases are considered poisons. In the small quantities we consume them, they pose no concern. I believe the same applies to diacetyl.

I think someone a few posts back calculate the amount in a e-cig to be about 0,00009 grams. His calculations were based on a e-cig holding 2ml of juice. My 801 only holds about 1ml of juice and it takes me hours to vape it. You could breath more than 0,00009 grams opening a bag of microwave popcorn.

I agree grumpster.... and I think it was good of flavourart to publish those figures showing exactly how much is in each flavour so that we could work out just how small an amount will be in the vapour.

Hi all,

My first DIY liquid!

I just got my flavourart order and was so excited! I made up a small amount of liquid using 4ml of Velvet Cloud (their base liquid), 0.2-0.3ml of Marlboro flavor, and 1 drop of Vape Wizard.

Man, that was nasty! It literally made me feel sick to my stomach

Am I doing something wrong, or is this flavor just not for me? (it didn't even taste like tobacco let alone Marlboro)

Help please?

I love their marlborough..... but I have found their flavourings to be EXREMELY strong: the first time I tried the marlborough at a 5% solution, I too felt totally sick. I like it at around 1% - or even less.

At first, I used to be very precise and use a small syringe, but over time, it's become more like my cooking "a bit of this, a smidge of that, a drip of the other" LOL! ..... and I just use a rubber-bulb glass dropper.

Seven, a single drop in a 4ml base will be more than 1%. With something this strong, you're better off starting with a larger volume of liquid and slowly adding small amounts of flavoring.

If you can, take a 10ml bottle nearly full of PG. Add a drop of the flavoring, shake well, and drip 2 drops onto the bridge of an atomizer. Vape it. If you can't taste it enough, add another drop, shake, and vape. Continue until you know how many drops you need in a 10ml batch.

So, for those of you who have already tried it, did the MTS Wizard really make a difference in the finished juice? Is it worth buying?

Yes, it makes a difference, and it doesn't take much. 4 drops was enough to kill a 6ml batch of coffee juice that was a little bitter. I should have used 1 drop. Once I "fixed" that batch, it did have a slight improvement over the original, but that's hard to tell because of the "fixing" involved. I haven't had reason to try it again, but I always keep it in mind.

It's not for every juice. It smooths the flavor by enhancing low tones and reducing high tones. It blocks your mouth's/tongue's receptors of acidic tastes. It imparts a bit of smokiness.

It seems to be designed for their tobacco flavors, but can be used for other flavors as well.

If you're making an order, and can afford it:
- you probably should get it if using their tobacco flavors
- you could get it if you make other flavors - especially strong or bitter ones like coffee
- I wouldn't bother if all you make is fruit flavors (get Magic Mask then)
- Their smallest bottle of it is fine. 1 drop per 3-6ml means it lasts a while.

But you do not *need* to purchase it.

I am sold now. That "bit of smokiness" you mentioned, only for that would be worth trying. I am going to give this Wizard thing a go.

Like Angela I found the flavouring to be far too strong at 5%....below1% is better for the Marlboro and Latakia. I must say I'm not loving these too that much...They are so different from the chinese tobacco flavours that they can take some getting used to IMO....

I tried beer. Very good !

For me it is a kind of blond beer with floral tones.

It is an intense flavor : 2 drops per ml !

I got a couple of 50ml bottles of the Marlboro and have to say I like it. It's definitely better than the Eastmall Marlboro and nearly as good as the E-SmokeyTreats MB. I'm mixing it at 1 1/2 drops per ml and it comes out nicely. Since I'm a menthol smoker I'm also adding 1 1/2 drops of menthol drops as well. SMOOTH!!!! Very good with or without the menthol. I've been vaping this stuff all week now.
