on your simple mod does it have a delrin piece up inside where the battery goes. I grabbed one on sale and doesnt seem right to me,switch very loose like and if you tighten it it fires.

No, neither of my SMPL clones has a delrin insert. You would screw the mod onto the Ignition base, put in the battery, and then screw in the switch. Shouldn't be any battery rattle and shouldn't fire with the switch screwed in. It would be the same procedure as setting up an atty - screw atty on flush, insert battery, screw in switch.

ok i will try it again with a different atty, does it have to have pin sticking out a ways to make connection right or can it be almost flush ?

The pin needs to clear the connector, otherwise it'll short. Doesn't have to be by very much though - just enough so that the battery's positive pole doesn't touch the negative 510 connector.

I only know that the Origen Genesis was designed to be used with both SS Mesh and cotton .. there is a 3mm wick hole for cotton. Can't really say how it would be with cotton because I am a mesh only Genesis kind of girl so when I build it its gonna be mesh. Check out some youtube vids because I know there are people using it with cotton.

My bad Crocky .. there are two 4.5mm holes for cotton and two 3.5mm holes for SS mech :)

Mephisto V2 follow up:

This thing is a beast. I have some fairly breezy, fog making RDAs (Mutation X, 1:1 Infinite Dark Horse, Infinite CLT, Hobo clones) but this thing is on another level. I did a quick, simple dual 24ga build. Wide open at 50W-75W it's almost giggle inducing assuming you enjoy making about 1ml of juice disappear into a haze with a single pull. It really is a monster. I can't really comment on the flavor since the juice I used was a first for me and I don't really like it very much. But, I'm assuming this thing will be a bit lacking in the flavor department. So, flavor chasers can probably pass on this one. Fog makers? This is the RDA for you.

Build was super easy with one caveat: The positive post will spin when you torque down the post screw unless you secure the 510. Not a huge deal, I suppose. After all, this thing cost like $10. The post holes will easily accommodate some very big wire builds, parallels, twisted, etc. The massive post screw heads are super nice. Beats the heck out of trying to fiddle with a tiny allen key and grub screws or super small phillips heads.

Verdict? I want another one. And, it looks dope on my Sig100+.

EDIT: update to my update. Just re-wicked and dripped some juice I actually like and, BAM, there is flavor. Quite a bit of it in fact. Warm, dense, juicy flavor. I'm beginning to suspect the Mephisto V2 is now my favorite RDA.

I build my genny's with cotton. Cut a slice of KGD and stuff it all into the tank and coming up through the coil like mesh then when I want new wick I pull it up a little and snip off the old used piece.

Good thing Doris sent me a new deck for my Hobo. I had been using the original deck in the meantime even though it was kind of janky. Got the new deck yesterday but didn't get around to building it. Well, last night I was vaping off the old deck and it just stopped firing. After removing my build, I discovered I had fried the insulator.

I was using a single coil, .35ohm build on a mech so it's not like I was making crazy power. I'm not sure why it happened or, for that matter, why it won't fire. The positive block is not in contact with the deck anywhere. Other than the small melted spot, the insulator is fine. I don't have my DMM with me to check for continuity. Guess I'll do that tonight.

Ms. Nicole - just something to look out for with yours, I guess. I have a copper Hobo from FT with a dual coil .25ohm build in it so I'll need to watch that one closely as well.

What is everybody seeing for "processing" time with in-stock items from China location? Site states "Processing time is less than 48hours for single purchase" -- but I'm now at one week. And their support staff seems MIA (despite auto-response saying "Please rest assured that we will get back to you timely once we back to work !") .

So, "Focalecig ... A new Fasttech??"

No, absolutely not. I've placed two subsequent orders with Fasttech -- and they've already shipped. And Focalecig, if you can't keep promises, don't make them. Change your website to say, "We'll ship sometime in the distance future", and "Don't bother us for Support".

And yeah, I'm a little ......... Not a good experience for a new customer, and not one I will be eager to repeat.

My most recent order took almost a week to be collected and shipped. That has not been the norm over the course of my previous eight orders. Product has shipped usually the day after I order, sometimes the day after that depending on the day and/or time of day I placed the order. I've had FT orders ship the next day and some which sat for three weeks before shipping. It's a roll of the dice, especially this time of year.

I am not looking forward to the Chinese New Year.

I've had long waits on almost everything I've ordered from both FT and FC. I do seem to order new and popular items though. If I need or want it right away, I pay more and order from a US vendor.

Ordering from a US vendor is guarantee to get it much faster or the correct item. Same Day Shipping took 4 days before shipping and than sent the wrong item.

The only guarantee is there are NO guarantee

Do just mechanical mods count for the Playa card or do vv/vw count too?

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2

At first it was all about mechanicals because we were all on a mech kick and VV boxes weren't getting much love yet. Oh how times have changed, so yeah it now includes VV/VW's .. but no Vamo's though :glare:
