Don't understand why this won't wick good .. Been getting burnish flavor.. Tried ekowool and SS so far

It was mentioned in the foggerv1 thread to keep the wicks short enough where they just touch the outer wall rather than going through. The idea is that wicks that extend past the wall get pinched and restrict juice flow for the whole wick.

anyone try the ceramic f2000 in the fogger? should be getting mine next week. I use the ceramic wick in the rsst and enjoy it.

just received a fogger, i think its a cheapy clone. got it from vapor beast for like 25 dollars. this one has a plastic tank and if i like it i may buy a real fogger. anyways i purchased it because i thought it would do really well with the fc-2000 wicks, which i have been running in my gennys since feb. so tomorrow i will try one out and let you know unless you have done one already.

OK so I rewicked with cotton like Todd did. First time using cotton and couldn't believe how good the vape was. Made sure the wick doesn't stick out and restrict juice flow against the glass. Worked steady for 10 minutes and now back to the burning taste. For some reason it only wicks good for a small amount of time. Very frustrating thought I had the perfect vape. Whoever gets this working please elaborate!

Plastic tank? Sounds like the first version. V2 should have a pyrex tank. I don't think the fish sticks fit in these from what I've seen... they're to thick.

I do NOT have it on good authority, but I have heard a rumor that the V2 has a larger wick hole. As a result I have not pre-purchased any wick or coil mats specifically for the V2 yet. Going to wait until it is in my hand or I get solid confirmation of wick hole size.

The pictures look like the holes are about the same though. I have so much silica in a drawer myself since I've been using aga-t's with ss mesh wicks for quite awhile now. I can't wait to get my hands on mine! I vape a lot of stuff that shatters plastic tanks so I stick to pyrex tanks. Was so happy to see this one turned pyrex with the V2!

I just received mine yesterday, and will be building it soon. It's really quite a nice little unit.

I'm a pure Genesis guy, so have tons of SS mesh but hardly any silica on hand, so I'm thinking of trying the existing mesh and/or microcoil + cotton.

For cotton... are those of you who have tried this, are you using a little piece of cotton from a cotton ball, or cotton yarn? I ask because I can see where flooding could become a concern...
