If it's leaking just sitting there it sounds like it's not sealing on the fill screw, upper o-ring or the small o-ring on the chambers stem where it go into the top cap. Just guessing though
Mine is leaking through the airholes... just sitting there, untouched, with little juice streams visible down the sides of the mod.. I gather this means I have an air leak somewhere, otherwise the liquid couldn't get out. Is this correct?

If it is, what are possibilities, and are o-rings involved in all of them?

Check the fill plug and the little tiny o-ring at the top of the stem.

These do tend to leak a little during filling if you're slow at getting the plug back in quick enough but shouldn't continue to just leak sitting there.

If you don't have enough wick to sort of seal the holes it'll fill the chamber and leak out the airhole.

I got a dumb question. This may make you do a nuclear facepalm, so, fair warning:

Why not build a wick with a straight run of resistance wire running completely THROUGH it? I know you'd be fighting the volume and weight of a wire completely surrounded by saturated.....whatever, ss mesh, ekowool, etc.

But.....someone tell me why this won't work, because I'm pretty sure it's a dumb idea of mine and I need someone to tell me WHY it's dumb, heh.

cannot get goin' today.....

Perhaps you may like something like what they are doing here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...y-kayfun-russian-ithaca-ect.html#post11020519

The Fogger is a candidate for this type of coil

The reason this wouldn't work is one of the key ingredients for vapor is AIR, and you wouldn't get any if the wire was completely surrounded.

The vertical coil DW mentioned is worth looking at though...

Oh yeah. Air.
Derp!
Yep, I needed that to be pointed out. So thanks very much, and I'm not being the least bit sarcastic.

Try this?: Take the top metal sleeve off first. Then hold it upside down and grab (maybe with pliers)the threaded extension of the chimney (the part that sticks out beyond the metal top-deck) and try to unscrew the chimney from the base while pulling off the glass. Never tried it so I'm probably whizzing in the wind......
