I agree with Imeo and Stormy. I started with NJOY crap. It never worked right, BUT I saw the potential and never picked up an analogue after 2 days of vaping. Upon a work trip to Spain, I spent my jet-lagged nights doing an Internet search on e-cigs., and couldn't believe how much more info./sellers were overseas. That said, I got smart and posed as a potential distributor inquiring with the Chinese. I bought every e-cig on the market for cost, and they were all problematic...UNTILL I saw Iken and his first post upon receiving the GG. It took a while to get one, but HOOHAH...The light at the end of the tunnel! Sticking by Imeo from the beginning has only led to bigger and better things, and the more of us that support the little guys the faster their new ideas become production reality.
I don't believe that cost is an issue for something that works every time all the time. If someone wants to quit smoking analogues for real, they will spend at least $1000.00 on NRT CRAP. Thus said, by a mod. not looking like a reg. cig., it changes something in the brain. I went through this very thing with a woman who loved my GG, but insisted I order her a 510 w/PCC...she still is a smoker : (
On this last order, I bought 2 GGTS's...one for me, and one for a friend. I bought him every option imaginable, so with the unit, batts., chargers, atty(s), juice, the cost was upwards of $600.00 of which would be nil after 2 1/2 mo. of not purchasing analogues. Needless to say, EVEN after telling him what the cost would be...I got stiffed...lesson learned, as next time I'll get the perspective party's credit card. Also, after a year and a half of Vaping, I MUST take the upper hand (especially with being so close to GG having all it's own components). Any newbie friend from now on, will get either a GGTS, or GGSS exclusively running at 7 + v's PERIOD! OR figure it out on your own. It's not my plight in life to convert anyone...I can only lead by example ; )
In closing, price is not an issue considering that analogues are around $7 per pack...it's just broken down as a daily expense.
Once the AFS's are ready for the SS and TS, I see no need to introduce a newbie to 3.7v mods...Why? Everything is better at 7.4 with the right set-up. Less expense TRYING to find the so called "sweet spot" truly means the unit is not dialed in. Again, with the new i7's and a great charger and batts., I see no learning curve as before, which would then be a valued argument.
I'll be getting all the fixings for my TS as soon as they're out, and an SS b/c of it's size to show my fellow smoker friends. Otherwise, the TS with 2 x AW (true 750mAh) RCR123 3.7v batts. is the real winner! Just my 2 cents, so thanks for reading ; )
