Here are a couple of pics from yesterday's road trip to Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.
Well, we weren't too far from each other then, RFire. Me and the Family were in Concrete, Warshington, that is.
Yep...as a bird flies...pretty close. Concrete is about an hour drive from my place. I need to head up that road too to see what I can see too....it's been well over 6 months since I've been up that way.

This picture was a complete accident - I just got this new camera (a Superzoom) and played around with the settings and the menu on a tripod in our back yard without even looking at the results. Later I deleted all the trash shots, but this one I kept - it's completely raw.

Oh man, focus stacking is something I really want to give a try one day. Hard to find a program that works well on Mac and with Aperture.
You should be able to use photomerge from within photoshop to get it done. Works pretty well actually!

Yes I shot from a moving vehicle going the same direction with a fast shutter speed
