I bought a provari mini, charger, batteries, two ibtanked carto tanks with some extra smoke tech cartos ,and a slap yo momma tool. I had no intention of quitting analogs. I hoped it worked, but didn't push myself. I had an analog whenever I wanted. I was a 3-4 pack of Marlboro 100 mediums per day smoker. I haven't felt a need or a desire to have a cigarette since early Friday, and I hadn't even been vaping a week. After lots of ejuice purchases I found halcyon Cranch'i and vaperlicious peachy mango, and I am content in my flavors. I will get others, but finally found some ejuice for daily vaping. Truly wishing you luck. This is way better than cigarettes.

This. For consistency and ease of use, this is the best combo. It costs a bit at the outset, but it's so easy to maintain and you get the same vape every time. I've had the same Protank on my Provari for 2 weeks and it's still going strong - have not needed to even replace the head.

For me the hardest part has been finding the right juice. Please don't give up. Get a consistent reliable mod and topper and keep trying juices till one "fits." If you are craving a cigarette and the vape isn't cutting it after you have the right equipment, it will just be a matter of adjusting nicotine levels.

Remember - you are doing this to save your own life. How much are you willing to do to that end? I think that puts it in perspective. You are worth it.

Thanks for the input... Juice isn't the problem... It's the delivery... Starting to think maybe I'm burning too high... I hear good things about the Protanks and iClear's, but am way leery about clearos due to past experience... I have Vivi Novas and Bauways and T2's and more just sitting around because they weren't friendly to me...

Maybe this will not be the best advise but is how i get it out of the analog, i did start with blu and in less than a week i was smoking again and forgot about the vaping stuff,,

Later in time i give a second chance with a twist and few evods, i start vaping and smoking i did smoke at wake up, after meals, with my coffe, etc... You know those moment that are smoke moments.. And vaping the rest of the day, soon in just a couples of day i start to dislike the flavor on my analogs and liking more my vapes, in a week later i was totally out of analogs,

Just take your time vape and if you slip with a smoke dont feel bad sooner or later you will start to hate the analogs, i was a 20 years 2 packs smoker and now i dont even understand how was that i liked the smokes

A local brick and mortar shop sold me an iclear. It leaked, gave a burnt taste half the time,etc.etc. It drove me nuts. Thank God I already had the carto thing down, and cartos aren't position dependent. The cartos have worked really well for me. My cartos are 3.2, and so I just set my Provari at 5.2 adding 2 ohms to the carto and play with it from there staying below any burnt taste.

This talk of mimicking a tobacco or menthol flavor is interesting to me. I know a lot of people do it. For me one of the best things about vaping are all of the awesome flavors out there that have no similarity to cigarettes.

I like both, actually... Fruity stuff, dessert stuff, etc... And also the Pipe Sauce from ePipeMods (which I know most people haaaaate)...

They honestly can. I use an IBTanked 19mm pyrex tank. I stick the carto in it. I use a tine off a plastic fork that I break off. I stick the tine in the hole on the top of the carto. Others use a toothpick. I fill the carto with some ejuice until its wet. I thermometer shake it. I add a little more juice. Shake it again. Put my slap yo momma tool in the top. Push the carto down enough to fill the tank. Push the carto back up and take the slap yo momma off. Add my drip tip and screw it on my provari. I know there are lots of videos. It sounds like a long procedure, but honestly I am done in under a minute. Works like a champ every time. You can do this!!!

Priming and filling isn't a problem... Prime with the condom method... Fill with a tank tool... Performance is my issue...

Fruity stuff has been my daily vape stuff. I started off with pineapple. My dessert stuff like key lime pie, and grants vanilla custard I can only vape for about an hour. It's so rich. I like it, but couldn't use the deserts all day. At least from my current ejuices. Even the Kona velvet milkshake was too rich for me to vape all day.Hope I find some more all day vapes. I want to try blue honey from Vape Dudes next. Whatever you can find that makes you happy. It's amazing all the differences in what people like.

i honestly hate carto tanks. they taint the flavor and are super high maintenance. i only use protanks and rba's/rda's, most consistent vapes i have found. i usually rebuild my protanks with ss mesh to increase flavor and eliminate all need to replace wicks ever, but that isnt completely necesary.

I have been using smoketech two hole pre punched with good luck. Hope to buy ikenvape cartos when they are available. I am on their mailing list. Most of my juice is 50/50, but virgin vapors 100% VG worked fine on it too. I just added in the notes to make it carto friendly. It vaped just great through my set up. Wish I knew what wasn't working well for you. I want you to succeed.

I was going back and forth like this for a while too with clearos and carto tanks. Very recently I bought a couple of RBAs (AGA-T2 & a Nimbus) and even though they take a little tinkering it's well worth the trouble. I built a 1.5ohm with ekowool and 30awg to avoid hot spots, shorts and other headaches with my electronic device and mesh. It's a little unorthadox since most people are using RBAs with mech mods but the flavor and vapor i'm getting are incredible. Good luck bud.

I like Smoktech too. I got some IkenVapes, but I wasn't blown away. I liked the Platinum, but they don't have a flange (which I prefer) and the Fusions, that do have a flange, didn't wick the way I like. The only Boge I have tried were punched by the vendor I bought them from and I think the holes were too big for my 70pg/30vg juice. I didn't care for them, but it may have been the holes. I like tiny little laser punches.

Has anyone else had this much trouble switching?

I did until I realized that vaping was not going to be anything like smoking.

Once you fully accept and grasp this, it can and will be a very satisfying experience. One that you will grow to enjoy and one that will get you off analogs.

And also, there IS no perfect vaping experience, it's different for everyone, and even different for me on different days, which is why I have a few devices and delivery systems.......I switch out during the day.

But effortless, and similar to smoking? Nope.

Just a note, it wasn't until I threw away ALL analogs that I really started to enjoy vaping. I put all my eggs in the vaping basket one day, and it paid off. First day or 2 was a little scary, but then I really just loved it and found I was getting my nic fix so it worked out.

What finally ended up being "it" for me:
-bottom feeders
-juice I really like
