How do you even get a draw out of that dt? You guys must have killer cheek muscles!
The Slap-Yo-Momma was a "tank accessory tool" to assist introducing the carto into a cartotank, make it easier to refill e-liquid into the tank, and protected the tank's o-rings. You couldn't vape with it in the tank, silly. o_O It was removed before you started vaping.

There was really no one device that made vaping a game changer for me. The thing that made it a game changer was the amount of vape stores that started coming up in the SF Bay Area back in 2012. I started vaping in 2009, but gave up because the only places I could buy stuff was online. Normally buying things online is pretty good and a lot cheaper than buying at a store. But with vape stuff it was hard to figure out who was trustworthy to buy stuff from. Although it wasn't totally the fault of the sellers. It was mostly becuase of the insecure shopping carts that the sellers had to use. I had many a credit card compromised because a lot of reputable credit card systems would not allow the sale of vape products. Then in around late 2011 and 2012, stores started popping up all over the place around here. I could just got it a store and buy my stuff without worrying about having my credit card compromised. That was a big relief and made buying so much easier and enjoyable. So that was the game changer for me. I've been vaping ever since then and have never gone back to analogs.

Well walk me down memory lane. I still have two Slap yo Mama's and a couple of carto tanks. Thought I died and went to heaven when I discovered Ikenvape cartriges and the circular punch that held the carto steady while you added a hole or made one bigger. I found a small jar the other day that the top was used to prime a carto. Good stuff.

GREAT calls, @Baditude & @SissySpike ! We did love us some Isaacvilles, and were also big fans of BDV right up to the final curtain. SO many good people have come and gone... :(

Isaac is still around social media to a degree, but I'll likely never know what became of John & Dee (I think that was their names - dayum, I'm getting old). Good folks - I liked them.

As I glance to my left, two SYM tools still sit in my vape stand. I love those things, and have from the moment I saw them.

Yeah, GREAT calls. Thank you both. :):):):):)

Slap Yo Mamma!

LOL, for two reasons.
First, these days you'll get arrested for using that phrase.
Second, I have two which I use to refill my tank holding a Sophia byLeo with a straight plexiglass driptip (which I replace with the Mama while refilling. Hard to explain unless you know the Sophia and dBase tank set up.)
Slap me momma. I imagine that would be politically correct to say. Maybe not.

I'm a little late to this walk down memory lane. The game changers for me were the eGo twist batteries and Mount Baker Vapor juices. I can't name a topper, because I think I bought about 500 or so of them. I remember spinning cartos (seems utterly ridiculous now), and 1 ml bottom coil clearos (those were great little flavor clearos), and terrible top coil clearos (terrible for me, others loved them), and carto tanks that could fall apart if you looked at them funny. I was all-in on Genny tanks, those persnickety little suckers...

I think it was just a few years ago we were all experimenting with ceramic wicks in Genny tanks before moving on to hemp fiber (I still have some of that, and ceramic wicks).

EDITED TO ADD: They apparently still sell those little 1ml clearomizers online:
Nano Clearomizer - WhimWhamVapes.com I almost can't believe it...

After I logged off, I thought I should mention that ECF was a game changer for me. I knew very little when I signed up, but quickly gained ground after I did. The friendly people on this site helped me learn about e-cigs. Without that, I might not have quite analogs.
