Wellllll..... I actually got an "m" wae this week and it's used. You are correct about the run time, with the spring that is. I ended up soldering a brass nut to the bottom of the tube. This direct connection with the battery allowed me to get through a full work day on one 18500. Significant difference. I also noticed that you had an efest 18500 in a picture. My efest 18500 is horrible compared to my 1200 mah aw 18490 batteries. So an 11 hour work day on one aw 18490 compared to 4 hours with the copper spring.
I've been using magnets in lieu of the spring. Still 3-4 hrs with my Purples and AWs (18500s). I don't have the new hi-drain AWs yet. But I am trying out a GPin in place of the magnet now. It needs some tweaking ~ and I believe the run-time will be good.

Late here, Q...brain not working so well. ;) What's a 'GP', please?
Cheers!

yeah that was the one problem I had with both of my we2's was the spring. the spring was waaay wimpy but I just made a new heavier spring from some silver coated becu and it's been great, before that the battery life was horrible but now I get a good amount of time from even the 18500

so last night I rejetted the feeds to a #50 bit and today it's been really good. with the stock holes when I took a drag I'd get a few tiny bubbles, when I opened it up one step the bubbles got a little larger, and now there even larger still and now it's feeding great for me

original liquid feed holes were 1.6mm, my first step was at 1.7mm I'm now at right around 1.8mm each and it has made a big difference for me

If you desire, then PM him to send you an 18500 tube as well. That size is very handy when outdoors.

Thanks, I think that they are made of a more slippery material, not like the O rings on a Kyafun, which I believe are just standard O ring rubber of lesser quality. I also remember Q mentioned they were 3M brand in one of the vids,Thanks again.

So are these available already? I see that he mentioned in the Wizard thread that they are coming but no mention about how to purchase. Do we need to contact him directly or will there be some type of announcement?

MB already has a few in their reserve stock. If one purchases a WAE-II today, s/he can most likely talk them into packaging one in his/her shipment. However, a small batch went into production today. In a week to 10-days we should see them listed.

I'm thinking of writing a children's book. It's about the story of a fill hole o-ring that misses home so much it embarks on a great journey, involving great distances and many dangers, to get back to Mark Bugs. After all, that's my excuse for why one has disappeared on me and why I'm waiting for some Buna N-70 o-rings in the mail as well. ;)

Write it! Some fill hole family will buy.

I didn't loose one. Close but found it on the tip of my bottle.

Not to be provocative, without a way to acquire proper screws I am very hesitant to buy another GEM. I know you have two, so worst case you can swap one-to-another until they become available.

FYI, I did use the website contact form on this point. Response, from Mark, was as soon as they move to the new factory "kits" should become available.
