Believe me, it's worth the wait. As a pointer, watch @qorax's review and build of the GEM. Follow that and you won't go far wrong - instant flavour!!
It's good
Like that. If you use thick
juice though you can wih the ti add a fair bit more cotton which to me brings out the flavor even more. Using cotton bacon which I'm sure you've read has little to no taste that news to burn off and is very dense cotton. I really want to figure out what they're rebranding for version 2 needs version 1 was dentalCotton.

I really need to get one of those Ti 2.5's, I missed out on that one.

I bought the full size, and the mini, shortly after they came out, it looks really good on it. No pics yet still playing with it. :)
I wish I had the cash to buy another TI Gem, I will have to settle for a ss one after this, they will be gone when I can afford another Gem.

There's quite a bit actually. The 2.5 is very simplistic with only variable volts. The P3 uses watts/volts and can fire down to .5 (with firmware 38). Theres plenty more but I'll save that for another thread. I have both and always find myself carrying my 2.5 minis.
Interesting. I may have to look at the 2.5's. I believe they're sold still and I assume they cost less given the missing features. I guess mini refers to 18350 only? Seems like a lot of gem owners like orovari mods, I have a p3 and I love the boost feature. But it's very big and quite out of date. If more people made p3 compatible I'd probably appreciate it more.

I can't believe there has t been a wide based standard and we're still stuck with tony 510 pins for conductivity even in temp mods. People need to get together and agree on a open standard.

What do you prefer about the ti?material? Only thing that hits me is the bigger chimney holes. By and large they're almost identical. I do t see a difference in the fill port washers as it was mentioned. Looks the same to me. What am I missing? Slightly deeper maybe ? I see inner lip.

If I knew I could sell the same gem for $160 I'd get another ti but at this point I can't be sure and I don't need three gems. I can't take less than that for a two month old gem that's literally never left a carpeted room and is absolutely flawless. And I'm not sure where the market for the as gem is right now. Otherwise I'd have another on the way right now. Outer chimney diameter looks to be a mm larger on the ti too.

Well this is my first gem, so I don't have another one to compare it to and I just got it today, if I end up liking it enough, I have 12-2.5 's that I use kayfun's on with the trippy tips plasma tanks, so I have a few to use them on. :)

Twelve!!!

I'll have to look up those tanks - never heard of the, and I own a few kayfun's (those are clones)

There's not a big difference in the gem and ti gem. For me the one difference is huge. I use 90% vg which doesn't wick properly in the original

Wow. That tank Looks kinda like they'd use it in a movie as a crack pipe or maybe a steam punk mod I guess is the idea. when vape is moving through :) heh. It's weird. Sorta cool but I bet they're a pain to keep clean.

Hi everyone! Anyone has any tips on building with mesh? Pictures would help too!
I have tried with mesh, 3 - 4 wraps spaced coil, played with different mesh widths but no flavor and it floods a bit.
Hope someone can help me out.
How thick is your eliquid? After watching the video back a page or two when it was posted qorax mentioned he used a bit of rayon to block off some of the channels on the side Iirc when using average or thin liquid. I did a contact coil with 7 wraps and wrapped mesh per his tutorial. I use 90-% vg in my adv so I have no flooding issues. In the old gem. The ti may be different with the larger wicking holes.

Anyway @Cloudrider posted the video for you presently but you may wish to go back to that particular topic as its only in the last few pages (using tapatalk an ten posts per page it's three or four back Iirc) should be easy to find.

I bought all of the metallic finish's, none are the painted ones, satin, polished, dragon Zen coat gold, Zen coat gun metal, and the TI's. one full size and one mini of each. No provari P3's, and no classics, although the classics I would consider, but I think if I was going to get another Provari, in would be a Radius.

When I got my first one, it was just because it was just so cool looking, but after I had one I realized that the flavor quality with these tanks is fantastic. You have to use original kayfun bases or Russian 91%, for them to work right. I bought 4 of the medium sized ones, because they were all I could find, they hold about 2.5ml of liquid. The larger tanks hold about 6ml of liquid, I finally got 2 of them last month, but have not set it up yet. They are actually easy to keep clean, just soap and water. Here is a pic of one of mine on a polish mini, not a great pic but all I could find at the moment. :)

Sorry about going off topic.

Need some help here: Been vaping my new Ti Gem on and off for about a day now. My first build was a mess so this is my second build (coil head down, legs up, per Qorax video) and I have re-filled/topped up the tank about 2 or three times. I'm getting leaking through the air holes. I turn off the airflow each time before I fill. And then turn it on after I've remounted it on my P3. Or can I turn it on before I re-mount? And I didn't get the point of turning the tank upside down for a while after re-filling. Why? With airflow on or off? Is my problem related to wicking issues? I'm using 2 mm 28 gauge Kanthal and Cotton Bacon. I would appreciate some guidance. If the Guru Qorax is reading this......
