Ok, you are eager on news on the new atty by SvöeMesto? Well, I am from Germany and a friend of mine is a Svöemesto tester.

Curious? Well... I needed to swear not to let anything out... But, what I can tell you is, if the German government will not change its mind by the current petition, Svöemsto will not be able to produce it, as it will be forbidden by law to use rta with more than 2ml capacity.... if rta's will be allowed at all...

So please, we need at least 50.000 signers by Jan 20th and need your support. If we get the 50.000, the government will have a dedicated parliamentary session for discussing this topic and even give the person who started the petition the chance to express his arguments.

We are nearly there... but you can help! If it is not for the German vapors, do it for your beloved kayfun.

here: Petition

Thank you for your support and best regards,
Sockeye

don't do it man, save yourself the aggravation. Tastes great until you get a hot spot, then it's a pain to get rid of it due to the deck design.

If you use a coiling tool to do the wrap and rake the coils as well as torching the mesh wel it's really not an issue - at least it hasn't been for me. I have mesh going on two weeks in one gem I've dry burned twice without issue

What kind of wattage are you pumping through that coil? Can I also trouble you for a glow shot? Is the resistance stable with the microcoil? I've always been a huge fan of micro coils, but haven't had much luck with Ti or Ni with them an TC. I have some samples of 317L but haven't tried it. I've got such a perfect build in my gem right now that I kind of don't want to pull it out, but I want to give the SS a go :\
qorax posted the mesh video a couple pages back.

This is a crop to show the close up of the 1.5mm microcoil - I think I did 10 wraps - covers the diameter of the entire hole in the gem deck below the coil.

this microcoil is stainless 430. I can tell by the resistance.

Here's a short video of how well it works. Best I can do Right now l. You can see how fast it heats up and how evenly. Works great. I agree temp control microcoil a don't usually work well but stainless 430 seems to go against that trend. Maybe I got lucky with one but I doubt it.

The way I made it and continue to make contact coils is with the coiling tool. I notice if I use the coil master v3 to make them and I do not squeeze with ceramic tweezers but instead just do the rake method if its not even - then the contact coils seem to work way better than when I used to hear and squeeze the coils. Then "run down the spine" of the coil with a flat head screwdriver to get rid of hot spots. I'm very happy so far with stainless 430. It's cheap and works super well in all Capacities.

We all need to go sign this petition now. I'm going

I've
Posted that to Twitter and Facebook and am in the process now of registering. Everyone should take twenty minutes to share and participate. Without a much higher level of activism our hobby and what probably saved us all is going to be reduced to tatters.

Regarding he stainless microcoil. The resistance shows as changing in the provari when it heats. As you'd expect. It doesn't cause any issues thigh when not in temp mode. And in temp
Mode that's what we're looking for. The changes are consistent every vape. .74-.80-.87-.82-.80-.74

That's what I'd expect and hope to see out of a material with a tcr good enough for temp
Control to Work

Apathy will be the death of vaping.
Yes if we don't all start working hard at this. The thing people maybe don't get is undoing a law
Is a lot harder than stopping one getting in. Look at marijuana. They're going it Make a law to Remove it from the law. Rather than just removing the first law.

This sort of ridiculousness means we need to stop
Things before they get going rather than repeal stuff later

We need to get it together as a community. And you know what. If my friends get sick of reading Facebook posts so what. At least when they go
To vote all that info Will be stuck in their head

Thanks for you advice and you might be right. But I've used mesh in other atties before and never had a problem with hot spots. You just have to prep the mesh properly. It will be different in these Gems so I might have issues but I still want to try it. When and if try it I'll let you know.
You will find the flavor being simply fantastic. Easy to build with mesh in Gem. In some RBAs the difference is minimal, but in Gem, mesh really improves the flavor IMO.

I would agree with that though I have had some issues with flooding. Even wih my thick
Juices. Is there a fix for that? Because I do genuinely like the flavor a lot.

Also
For those just trying mesh make sure you lower your power a little.

Two small pieces of rayon on top of the vertical Us, one each. I had this problem as well but with High PG.

I'm curious does the GEM draw specially better on a Wizard device. i.e. is it recommended to have a WAE to achieve optimum flavor/draw? Initially I was planning on a provari radius + upcoming new kayfun combination until I stumbled onto this thread. Still keen on the radius..

Lastly, if I use the standard kanthal build with japanese cotton as I currently do. Will I be missing any flavor orgasm?
I'll add my 2¢ here.. No the gem does not require a wizard device, per se, and for performance... However the finish matches, the diameter matches, and it can hybrid to a we/wae device. Not to mention the wizards use a dna, better than the radius imho. Plus the new wae2 has been dna40 with temp control should you want to try it.

And last, the wizard mods are a specialty piece of hardware, one you'll most likely not see at a local store, or event. You'd have something special and unique... Plus it would all match beautifully.

Now this is only my opinion... And of course a gem would work equally the samr on a radius or any other device as it will a wae device.
