Just imagine some poor vaper getting stopped who's using a Coolfire II... "call homeland security, a terrorist with a grenade!"

You have far more confidence in courts and judges than do I. Federal judges are not made in heaven but in smokey back rooms like most politicians. They are put forward by a politician, nominated by a politician and then confirmed by politicians. Place not your faith and hope in humans who sit above you clad in shapeless black dresses.

Actually I agree about judges being all too fallible, having run afoul of one or two. But I also know that judges LOVE "throwing their weight around," and proving how, now that they're on the bench, those politicians who helped them get there, cannot touch them. I mean, why else would they want to be there, but the exercise of the greatest power in the American system? Everyone else in gov't, you can call "sir" or "ma'am"... but judges can literally throw you in jail if you don't call them "Your Honor". They can throw anyone in jail at any time, for any reason, or no reason at all. And they don't have to let them out, if they don't feel like it.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
You guys are so funny! There will still be vaping, as Big Tobacco has their hand in it. Our gear is not illegal, it just won't be able to be sold. So, do as I did, I bought rebuildable atomizers and only mods that had removable batteries, and enough nicotine base to last 5 years, or 10 if I cut my juice down to 3mg! We will still be able to buy wire, cotton, and batteries.
I did all the advocating I thought would work. We lost the battle, but not all is lost. At the very least, we can take the juice out of the cartridges they WILL sell us. And maybe by then, someone will have got their gear or juice approved.
It's not going to be a problem. Order from outside the country, or buy on the black market. Juice is too simple to make, and mods too easy to build, for them to stop it.

Yea, beat up on the old man with his APV :grr:

I'm with you bro. We need to let whatever hair we have left grow out a bit and get straggly grey beards. Then find a beat up old truck with a wheelbarrow in the back and no brake lights. Spray paint "COPS SUCK" on the tailgate. Then we'll be ready for our starring role.

Now you tell me. I have the busted up Wheel barrow but I just sent the Beat up old truck to the Scrap Yard. It was so ragged out and frame rusted, I didn't dare let anyone else have it. I drove it daily though

Would have been Perfect for the mission.:headbang: :vapor:

One of my local B&M's has one in their CLOSEOUT / DISCOUNT case. I think it's going to continue gathering dust until it meets the dumpster. For the very reason you describe: who wants a mod shaped like a grenade? Likely to get you shot by some overzealous LEO.. And I'm not picking on LEO's - there are a couple in my extended family and they're good people.

:w00t:

You pretty much just described my husband, though our truck is not beat up at all, it's one of those trucks that thinks it's really a car, nice seats, CD player, etc. :D But the long straggly hair and gray beard, yup, that's my ol man. :D Who does think cops suck, but would never deface his truck that way -- he loves that vehicle. :D (ETA: the only type of decorations or stickers or anything he'll allow on the truck are those for the USMC, and he has one in the back window that says "Marine Corps Veteran")

:D

I wonder which vaper among us will be the first one to appear shirtless at night on a Cops episode.

"Is that an 18650 under the seat?" "I smell blueberry and cereal, better get the taser ready"

You mean like the guy who DID attempt to take that on a plane and the TSA confiscated it and made a social media/blog post basically saying, "Yes, we KNOW it's just an e-cig, but it looks like a grenade and this is unacceptable. Vapers, please don't do this."

Yep.

Personally, I'd rather avoid problems. If I owned that cool fire, I'd fly with something else. I don't mind that someone else owns one and likes it, but it seems to me that you're asking for trouble if you try to fly with it.

Same goes with toys. I'm not gonna try to fly with a letter opener that looks like an assassins blade or a cigarette lighter that looks like a gun or a realistic looking toy gun. I want to get on my plane and go to my destination with the fewest amount of hassles possible.

That's kinda my feeling too. Fortunately I don't need to travel anywhere, but I have to say, even as big a fan as I am of the "sneak vape," I don't think I'd risk it on an airplane; they're just too het up about everything these days!
