I use 400 even with 100% VG - been working just great.

The smaller the hole size in the mesh (400) the better it wicks (capillary action) the larger the hole size (325) the less it wicks but it will drain from overhead more. So it depends on the use, for the tank under the 400 wicks best, a 500 mesh would be even better.

Yup, you're the reason I've been using 400 mesh on my Line v2!
I'm still getting the hand of making wicks and wrapping coil.. been some trial and error but I'm getting it down. My biggest problem is having shorts, but my Line v2 is working pretty great at the moment!

edit: Oh also, I tried the rolling paper thing.. I wasn't a huge fan, but maybe I did it wrong. First I tried it but wrapping the paper, then wrapping the coil, then burning the paper off. I could taste the burnt paper and eventually I was getting shorts again when it all burnt off. Then I tried not burning the paper off. It worked pretty great, but I still tasted the paper slightly. It went away after a while, but if I took too long of an inhale I could taste the paper. I've been getting good at making straight SS wicks, but hopefully I can make them flawlessly soon.

Also, does anyone make and store spare wicks? How do you guys store them? I wish I had little tubes that I could just submerge in VG or something. Or even pre-wrap the coil and store them somehow...

I think I'm definitely getting better at rolling wicks and wrapping coils now.
I just set up a new wick and coil on my line. This time I cut the mesh out at a 45 degree angle.. I can't say for sure yet but I do think it's wicking better. A little tougher to roll, but not much. So far so good!

Anyone here try the twisted kanthal coil? I hear it produces great vapor and grabs the wick and posts easier, but gunks up way faster. Just wanted to hear what you guys thought of it. I may try that at some point this weekend. I'm interested in the parallel dual coil, but am not sure of the dangers, I don't want to risk ruining any batteries.

Anyway, I'm still having oxidation issues I think. For the most part I can get my Line working great, but sometimes my ohms will drop or I'll get a short or hot spot. I can fiddle with the coil and get it working again, but always takes some time. Like right now my coil ohm is about 1.6, and it's working great, but it was 2.0 before, so I know it's not working like it should. I don't want to mess with it because it's working nice, and I'm at work so I don't really have the time or materials to mess with it.

I also may try the silica rope inside the SS mesh - anyone know what size and what kind to get, and from where? I hear it wicks great and doesn't affect taste.

I'm starting to think that it's not really my oxidation that's the problem. I know the Provari's are very unforgiving with E1 errors, so things might go better when I get my Sturm mod.
At this point, though, it's just little things here and there.. I can get everything working pretty nicely usually.
Definitely want to try the double-stranded coil and twisted-wire coil, though.. just not so sure on the safety of these, it might just be a higher battery drain, though.

I'll check out the Line thread, too, thanks!

Let me revise question, do you know where I can buy one in Mexico?

Hehehe sorry, I didn't understand the question :D

I didn't buy it in Mexico, I was on the Genesis LV list since August 2011, mine came from Germany.

I have seen it on the Electra Pipes site, but I am not sure if it is currently on sale.
