I like Chaos's final draft suggestions. Kibboodle, thanks for sending the draft to vendors, but it would be easier if you passed us the list and let us include them in the mass email we are preparing and figure out who could follow up. Chaos mentioned a big container of some sort for folks to bring their get rid of stuff to throw in there where people can leave and take. I like the idea of a sample bar type of thing, really cool idea!!!

Georgia Vape Meet February 18th 2012

A group of vapers in Georgia are planning a meet in February and we would love to have you join us! The meet is planned for Saturday February 18th, 2012 starting at 5pm. We have a room reserved at the Olde Towne Tavern and Grill in Lawrenceville, GA (see below for location details).

We are expecting around 50 or more electronic cigarette users to attend and several vendors that have already volunteered to attend to the event as well. There will be a cash bar and all meals will be a la carte. The only requirement for vendor attendance is a $25 fee (via PayPal to insert email) to help cover the expense of renting the space at Olde Towne Tavern. A few donations for door prizes or juice samples would be greatly appreciated but are completely optional.

You are also welcome to bring items to sell at the event. We will have tables set aside for vendors so you will have a space to display any products that you bring. This would be a great chance for your company to connect with e-cig users, maybe make some new customers and friends!

If you are travelling a distance and are interested in staying overnight, we have arranged for discounted rates at the Hampton Inn on Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville near Olde Towne Tavern!

Please reply to this email and include your phone number if you are interested in attending as a vendor. Someone from our group will contact you by phone later this week to answer any questions you may have and confirm your attendance. We hope to see you there!

Jibboolie, If you haven't sent anything to vendors, please wait, that is just a rough draft. I love your enthusiasm though sammy is just getting input from the rest of the committee before he finalizes it and sends it to the vendors.

Nice pic, chatter, that was a fun afternoon, and if I have transportation I'm all for another planning meeting, to work out any other details. Shall we work on a date yet, or wait till after Christmas?

sammy, that looks great. Unless anyone has any more suggestions I say go ahead and send it.

I dunno, Bal. Since we're trying to include some out of state vendors I think we should go ahead and send that initial invite. From there we can parcel out the responsibility to maintain contact to whoever volunteered for them.

Oh and Jibboolie, Unless anyone objects, do you think you could start a thread in the new members forum with a link to this one? There are quite a few new members from GA in there that may not know about it, but still keep up with the new threads.

Akston-Hughes, a company that's make a new VV mod, has expressed interest in coming down and bringing a case of their new mods with them. Here's a youtube vid of their product:

We'd be some of the first vapers to try these suckers out.
