Hi guys, sorry I missed it! I already have my LaQuinta reservation for the night of the meet (we have to go to a pet friendly hotel so we can bring our dog). And then, since Karl isn't as much into vaping as I am, if he doesn't want to come, he can just hang out in the hotel room while I hang out with you guys! LOL Though I intend to drag him along anyway if I can.

This past week and this week have been a little nutso with work. NCR has been here as we are working on requirements to get our ERP system integrated into theirs (we got acquired by them), and then Thursday night my foster dog from Canine Assistants (service dogs) graduates. So I'm basically getting up and rolling out of bed and then at 100 mph all day long until I fall back into bed. Friday is their last day (I'm also the lunch coordinator for 50 people these two weeks). Whew!

Quick update, I know Sammy was taking care of Vaperite, but talked to Todd when I went to pick up an order and he said he will provide a raffle prize and some juice for the juice bar. Also, he did not know there was a vendor fee and I told him that I would put him in contact with the person handling that transaction. Is that chaos or who?

We got a month to go!!!

I am currently drafting a letter to send to vendors for additional raffle prizes and juice samples. Will post it here by tomorrow for editorial comment. We still need some vendor suggestions. I will look at the google document that chaos put up there and see if I can find a good spot to start the email contact list for vendors.

I just wanted to take a minute to remind everyone about reserving your hotel room for the Saturday night 02-18-12. The rate of $69.00 will be available until either we are sold out, or until February 4, 2012.

I have received a couple of questions about our hotel, and will post them here:

Pets are not allowed, sorry. (I do have the name of a good boarder or two in this area!)

We will be allowed to vape inside the hotel, as long as it does not disturb other guests in the lobby area.

Yes Moofaso - I'm Radiant, aka HSR, aka NCR Hospitality.....and whatever iteration we will end up being! LOL

I've really enjoyed all the NCR folks that have been here - seem to be a really great group! I have been with Radiant aka, aka, aka....(LOL) for nine years now!

I would recommend 18 mils or less, that is the common mg amount most of us vape. Any flavors are welcome!!!

Hello Everyone!

I used to live the apartments right across the street from there. Now I'm across town... still driving distance, though.

When I travel, I don't even ask about vaping in the room and get a non-smoking room (if there were even an option. Some hotels are 100% non-smoking now). But good to know about the lobby area, and more likely the restaurant area.

Nine years, wow!!! I am lucky if I stay with a place for longer than a year!!!! (Actually current company is going on 2, but that is after 4 companies over the past 5 years).

There's something to be said for being with a company for a long period of time - like generous time off for one. It's one of the many reasons I was never lured away from Radiant. No one else could offer me 5 weeks of paid time off. I'm lucky that I'm at nine years. Under NCR, I lose a week, but for the first year, they are giving the Radiant folks an additional 5 days (since for most of us we lost some paid time off days under NCR). Come next year, I'll be at ten years (they are bridging our time) and under NCR, back to essentially the same number of days off that I had with Radiant.

Since I'm the "snake lady", that works out well for me, and affords me time to go out of town to different weekend reptile shows and make them long weekends, while still giving me a couple weeks a year that I can go to NC to visit family.

Moo - we truly appreciate the warm welcome that we've received by the folks at NCR. Are there many vapers that you know at NCR? I did ask during our HR meeting and they told me if I used electronic cigarettes (they don't know what vape means), that it was not considered tobacco use under the benefits plan.

Twas fun, but I consider my self an observer (mainly of the OTG staff.. They do hire well) and not committee, ya'll have done the bulk of the effort.

I simply wished to put faces to names, enjoy some food/drink, and enjoy the company.. Mission accomplished, and there is no way I'm missing this event.
