Holyyyy. i knew there where some fakers of the nicer mods but this is ridiculous. It is really quite sad, and I guess I'm quite fortunate to find this thread 'cause I just might have fallen for one given the wait time and being not so patient about it. Thanks for the info.

Not sure if that's really sad for Imeo....In fact, it's good for him to have knockoff/copies of his products, and I'm sure that some modders form around the world are somewhat jealous not to have these copycats around their own products.

No doubt about it , at least the number of awesome creations will never be achieved by no one else. GG family is one of the greatest parts in e cig industry worldwide and nothing can change that, even if we vape for another 20 years.

Team Rampage (or whatever their name is, the makers of the Adam) is back up to their old tricks, with a new device called the "A.P.S." It's clearly a knockoff of the AVS/UFS. I think I remember them trying to claim the Adam wasn't a GG knockoff, I wonder if they will still try to claim the same this time. They make me much angrier than China, who makes cheap copies, and just want money, and just don't care about anything else. But if someone has the ability to make nice things, and is willing to put time into it, I would think they would have some pride and want to make things that had at least a little originality. But instead they copy and then try to lie about it.
And I notice that VaporFreak sells their stuff. I think these two companies are the real villains here. I don't think China is a threat because their cheap products don't appeal to GG users, and people who would buy cheap copies probably never would buy a real GG anyway. But these two companies steal Imeo's ideas and try to sell it at the same price level, and sometimes even try to convince you that they're not ripoffs. I really wish there was a way to stop just these two.

Did this person buy a bunch of Ithakas to re-sell? Or has it been cloned already? Or is it a send me money and I'll send you some air type scam? I *think* this site is in Venezuela from the phone #, but I'm probably wrong on that.
Or is this the Italian sellers site? I've never been to that one before. Just confused because it looks like they're in stock.

Good luck to anyone trying to imitate the Ithaka.. lol.. good luck with that. If they can then they really should question themselves as it really would be easier to just make a new type of atomizer.. a cloned Ithaka will be pretty comical. They couldn't even duplicate the ODY V2 properly and thats very basic in comparison.

We had the same conversation with machine shop 2 weeks ago Skiba. He says that if someone tries to copy Ithaca it will cost him so much money and time that he will quit for sure. And I think, as you do, that its a so precised piece that none will bother to copy it
Ok, guys I am looking at this thread and ok, bad quality imitations are really bad, but on the other side, the Imeo is uncapable to follow the demand and this is the reason the chinese copies are kicking in. I wanted to buy it but as it is constantly unavailable and i dont have time to race for it, i will buy a copy as soon as i found a decent one, my problem is not the money but i just cant get it anywhere.
I think that Imeo is creating this problem by his own ignorance of the market, when the DID (mmvapors.com) decided to mass produce theirs, I bought it and i bet there is hell of a lot of people that would do the same (btw, they f* it up, before they decided for this move the market was flooded by its copies and i think the build quality is pretty much the same). At the moment I can only hope that the chinese copys are going to get better and better.

When a beautiful and unique, not to mention quality, piece is mass produced, it instantly becomes something else. It is not even close to having an original.
It is paramount to having a paper photocopy of a Rembrandt pasted on your wall with freezer tape. If they indeed do get better and better, then you have a better quality photocopy of the Rembrandt taped to your wall.
