Yep and you wont believe, there are thousands of Rembrandt fans that have his reproductions hanged on the wall. As there is almost no chance to get the original, either is too expensive or not for sale. So they are satisfied with reproductions, to at least have SOMETHING instead of NOTHING and some reproductions are art per se, some counterfakes achive high prices on auctions.

Currently best SS clone of Oddysseus (not bulk!) is 25€, while the original (unavailable anywhere) is 90€. This means they are able to make it for more than x3 times cheaper and still have profit, so i bet they will also clone Ithaka the same second they will smell profit, it might be complicated, but once CNC is feeded with data and same SS block, the quality is the same, whoever does it. It is not really a hand made stuff...

Bottom line, they will flood the market the same moment they produce the good clone (one SS clone is already out, next one is going to be better) and if i were Imeo, i would buy additional CNC and follow the demand ASAP, you can get overrun by anyone who has two CNC and is prepared to take less then 100% profit from one sold item (my speculation, but in any case there is a huge profit in any product you do).

(btw, the idea that chinese are not able to produce quality is a BS, there is only a question how much they are prepared to invest)

I would but I didnt knew about it, and for mass produced atomizers I veni-vidi-buy. And never heard about cody before. Oh and i only care about vape, i am not interested how fantastic it is polished. And for genesis type atomizers now i know that the 25euro SS replica is as good as DID regarding the vape. Genesis is as good as the mesh and coil are and i suspect here it is the same. Dont get me wrong i would buy original, but as it is never available i can only say: "Go China, you do the CNC, i'll do polishing"

you are a little wrong spod about CNC machines. Not all of them are the same, thats why some of them cost 30.000 euros and others 200.000 euros. As for the overrall quality, its again not the same. What steel they use? How they cool their machines? How they shine them? How they clean them? Also, are they serious when they leave mouthpieces unshined? Mouthpieces like this dont slip well over the upper o-ring, they let liquid pass outside Ithaka's body and they eat your teeth.

I am sure that someone will make a serious copy some day but its my idea and none can copy that if you agree

As for my profit. What do you think is my profit from any GG product? Lets talk about Odysseus. How much money you think I make from every sale? Dont forget that I am in Europe, not in China

And be sure that every time China desides to make a quality copy, they charge it very close to original

Also, you complained about availability. I hope that you bought Ithaka because it was on preorder for a long time. But even if you didnt buy it, you will still have the chance to do it because I send to my sellers more that preorders

Yes they are in China. And you are in Greece, i bet you can find few CNCs not having too much bussiness lately... Or outsource to China if you cant keep up with demand, it worked for Apple

The copy or the clone can never match the quality of original GG atomizer.
Genesis style atomizers are simple construction so a copy works like original but GG is a different story

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I have never found any copy of anything to be as good as the original. If i had - i'd have bought a 3d printer and made my next wife!

Cost is largely irrelevant once you start mentioning engraved, machined and vv mods. One look at the classifieds will tell you that. If you're seriously trying to tell me that Chinese goods are up to the quality of anything made in Europe or the US, then you're delusional - there was melamine that poisoned baby milk and cat/dog food such is their quality control.

I don't own a GG - but i do appreciate the beauty of it and it seems to me the man has a right to gain some reward from his efforts and ideas rather than being ripped off and cloned every time he opens a browser.

You have missed my point and I apologize, so, I will explain it better. The "Original" is the one the Imeo makes and designs by hand. The quality reproductions are the ones we all have, that is designed with the "Original" at hand.

Nope, the ones the chinese have are photocopied. Not quality reproductions. Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. That is what you say that you want tacked to your wall.

Hey friend. I also have not been able to get GG anything. Then I came to the GG page (here) and Imeo (the maker) helped me & gave me all the information I needed to get 1. It is possible for everyone to get 1! & might take some time, but you will have it for life!

Your ideas are not bad spod but we have discuss too many times the same issues. I will tell you the problems and the possible solutions. Availability - more cnc machine shops mean troubles because pieces will not much well each other
China made - a lot of delays because they will not make pieces as I want. I did it once and I cant do it again.
Europe made - I dont control quality. In Greece I can do it. I am at least 2 hours per day on CNC machine's shop to make sure that they will make what I want.

If you like details and all that stuff, you cant go mass production, its just impossible.
