Hi, just received my new GGTB yesterday, love it, but as i have Blue Trustfire 14500 protected batteries to hand already, i put one in and altho they work fine, the GGTB top won't fully screw on....don't know if the AW 14500 batt that Igetcha used in his video review are slightly shorter, but with the false batt in there, it sticks up out of the tube slightly, so have to push fairly hard to get top on at all...

as i say, it still vapes fine, just wondered if it'll be putting undue strain on the spring?

Is your false battery totally screwed? If yes, then please cut 1 thread of the spring and you will be just fine. If you cant do that I will send you a new spring for free lilacs.

You are from scotland. Yesterday I saw a mel gibson's movie about wallas that fight the UK king. exellent movie!

Yeah, That is gonna be a problem with dif. manufacture batteries.... Depending on what kind of bat ya have they seem to differ slightly from brand to brand.... Like the AW 17670 fits no problem...but the Grey Ultrafire Protected 17670 doesnt fit ... so its just one of those things... certain 17670s prolly wont fit... and also the 14500 series of bats are made in dif. heights... depending on what brand..so like you said, that can be a ongoing problem... but most should work no problem...

Imeo,
Yeah, That will solve the 14500 problems...

But the 17670 it wont, witch is no biggie... I think most 17670 will fit, Like the AW 17670 fits great... But the Ultrafire Grey 17670 gets half way in and then it wont go any farther... its too wide... Its no big deal tho.. I think most will fit...

Anyone that has tried a 17670 in there GGTB... Post what kind of 17670 ya have and fit inside the GGTB so everyone knows...

AW 17670 fits...
Grey Ultrafire Protected 17670 does not...

Mine wont fit... But that doesnt surprise me.... Ultrafire batteries tend to differ depending on who and when ya bought them... So mine may be just a tad bigger...

Exactly Tim, The batteries come from china in all different measures, Its very hard to get all them the same in diameter, length ect. Great point~

Exactly. Specially Trustfire and Ultrafire, They seem to differ in size often.... So that is gonna be a issue with the 17670 on the GGTB. For the most part I think the AW 17670 will be one of the better choices. For anyone in the market for a 17670 battery.
