@Utsuru..now THERE's some more memories! Cap guns.balloon fights..playing Cowboy and Army....back when the 6 shooters still looked like six shooter's and little kids and parents gave no thought that anyone, let alone the police ..would mistake it for a real gun. Rip Van Winkle would sure have a rude awakening

I was too young to understand Vietnam ..even as Kent State happened in my state. I guess we baby boomers hafta be an adaptable bunch..or we'd all be in the loony bin together I guess...
Interesting theories of teleportation and what not being tossed around out there now.....Yeah..just like the original "Star Trek" series! "Beam me up, Scotty!"
The world looks very different to me now compared to my childhood.
@Utsuru..it sounds like you still have a bridge to the past that's akin to Life in my youth...I wonder..at what age are the kids now where it disconnects? Is it the advent of the cell phone. I know it helps to have a bridge to the past...like a grandparent(s)... I know I sound like an old fart..I don't FEEL like one

...and there were "Dear John" letters back then...instead of the text dump..whatever it's called

Wells "1984"..would have surpised even him that science fiction had a better pulse on the future than alot of the scarey "apocalyptic future" stuff.
@Shawn Hoefer ..my bros had one of those Atari's that played PacMan, I think..with joysticks..it was pretty darn RAD for its time.
..just reminescin'
