I don't really BBQ, but I can grill a mean chop or steak. I'd offer to bring the meat, too, but as we have mostly goat in our freezer...

I will bring a couple dollies, too. One has,red hair and a green jumper, the other's a blonde with a bright blue dress.

Hmmmmmm.....

Maybe not...

The last move we made (ever - knocking furiously on wood), I threw out my back something awful... I was laid up for a month. Seem I thought I could lift and tote a 5K generator. I did lift and tote it, but I paid dearly for that the next day.

Learn from my mistake JPF and get help with the lifting.

...when I said I'd bring the traffic cones...I was thinking of the kind the po-lice use to direct traffic...not the big orange ones..My back's no good for heavy lifting anymore....but I spent many hours in the military playing traffic cop(@mac63 ..like at Bon-Odori?! )

Count - I wish I could partake, but the Lagunitas kegs, fresh from the brewery yesterday, did me in. Actually, my over indulgence did me in, but you get the picture.

Time for me to rustle up some greasy food.

..unless it was pit bar-b-qued over several day(Numm!!) ...or pressure cooked..cooked for a long time..I recall the goat meat being pretty sinewy and tough...course I've only ever eaten Dairy Goat..not meat goat.

..unless it was pit bar-b-qued over several day(Numm!!) ...or pressure cooked..cooked for a long time..I recall the goat meat being pretty sinewy and tough...course I've only ever eaten Dairy Goat..not meat goat.

Nope... ours are the dairy variety. The secret is the age of the goat. We care deeply for our milkers, and we love our doe kids. But, we only need one buck goat on the farm at a time... young bucks are raised until weaned and then sent bye-bye. We know this from the outset, and name them chops or roast or some such... young milk fed goat dressing out to around 40 pounds is SO very tender and flavorful... our milkers, when they are past their prime, sadly go to the sale barn. Fortunately, when we consider our milkers past their prime, they're still rather young, and sell to small families starting out and not to the food market...

...like veal is to beef..makes sense...The family I knew had a bunch of kids so naming them roast or stew didn't happen ..and prob why I never got ta taste a young goat...Remember they once had a calf named Pudding..then had to trade it out to a Russian family who's kids also got too attached to their food. I grew up with family friends who were Dairy Farmers in Amish Country..and it was more like "well...we gotta take Ole Brownie to the auction barn today"...
