Two new 18650 batteries!

Actually, I am really looking forward to labeling and charging them together tonight, "marrying", so I can then use them in my new ipv4!



ETA: They just arrived!
Darn, I wish I'd brought my double charger to work with me.

Help the Oldt Guy out here, Robin. What means this "marrying" with regard to batteries?

I do the same with my "AAA" batteries........you mark them the same color so you know what ones to use and when you charge them you use the same ones (pair/set) each time....when they stop working as good as they should then you know what pair to throw away.....as they have both been charged the same amount of times............
these are my white ones...(I used electrical tape)

OK, I got it. Those look like Duracells in your box. How long will they last? How many recharges? They don't go very long in my DSLR (AA) and I find it frustrating when "rechargeables" will no longer recharge.

These arches got used in one of the Indiana Jones movies, though they "added" a cave in the rightmost one here that does not exist in real life. Of course, Hollywood is really good about making things the way they want them.

Wow! Maybe I just got a bad batch because I'm lucky to get 15-20 recharges. Oh well...

Good afternoon everyone, wishing you all a good day!

Last night was incredible, I had to have seen around 150-200 meteors in the span of a couple of hours. I plopped a chair in the front yard, leaned it back and looked up and just enjoyed the night sky. I saw fast ones, slow ones, pinkish, greenish, orangish, white ones... I've always just found space and the night sky fascinating. I also saw one very peculiar light which was interesting as well, not sure what it was but it was very strange.

If only I had a camera able to setup a timelaps of the night, that would have been icing on the cake.

I am afraid it might be coming down to WA being like CA..........

I read a news report a week or two ago about a projection that in 2100 San Francisco will have the same climate as San Diego currently has... which I guess would make WA's climate like that of the Bay Area...?
