Good afternoon everyone, wishing you all a good day!

Last night was incredible, I had to have seen around 150-200 meteors in the span of a couple of hours. I plopped a chair in the front yard, leaned it back and looked up and just enjoyed the night sky. I saw fast ones, slow ones, pinkish, greenish, orangish, white ones... I've always just found space and the night sky fascinating. I also saw one very peculiar light which was interesting as well, not sure what it was but it was very strange.

If only I had a camera able to setup a timelaps of the night, that would have been icing on the cake.

Counting the minutes until the first (possibly the last first in San Diego, at least ) Chargers pre-season game against the Cowboys. Sure, it doesn't count--but it is football!

1. Thanks for all the well wishes. My husband is having a bad time of it, his father is super upset and they've been on the phone talking a lot. I'm not close with my family, but seeing everyone post pictures of my uncle from way back back in the day on facebook reminded me that we were once close. I think we are going to Ga tomorrow, not sure how we are going work 2 funerals in different parts of the state at the same time though.

Sounds like it was really amazing!

It really was, there should be quite a few tonight as well if you want to try to spot one. It wont be like last night but the chances are still really high, I'll likely watch for a while.

There were a ton of them last night like this where you could see the vapor trail burn off as they hit the atmosphere, I said "Whoaaa" out-loud way too many times :

Yes this is one of my builds..........I have a few made..........but all designed for me...........

That's BAD ASH! Wish I was more inclined to build things like that. I once built the Puck mod, out of a giant pill bottle... was neat, but a novelty. Worked well while I was still on carto-tanks. A Valley View Vapes tank looked pretty damn sweet on it!

Nice collection... exceptionally unique!

It's dark enough now that I might be able to catch a few meteors, I hope it's worth checking out. It may not be able to top last night but it still may end up being a good one. I hope everyone's evening is going well.
