Put me in the pic to show scale. The claim, when you come into this place, is that you can drive through this tree. Well, maybe if you still have a functional Model A or a Mini Cooper. I realize I was a tad overweight in this pic, but no way would my car fit through there.

I would like to hear from one of you astrology believers as to what you think "retrograde" means. As an astronomer, I understand that, way back in history when we believed in geocentrism (all planets and stars rotated around us), that we also believed some planets reversed their course a few times a year and actually moved backwards in their orbits. That was the only way astrologers could explain the movements of those planets. Now we know better, and we also know that no planet ever stops and moves backward (retrograde), so why does modern astrology still use this term?

The year was1985 (was it really 30 years ago? Jeeeezzz...). Anyway, this is a picture of the object of my lust back then: Rock Climbing!* Oh yeah, and there's a person there too, blocking the view of all those gorgeous rocks... Oh, I guess that's my wife.
Lannie.jpg

* and alpine and nordic skiing, and racing motorcycles in the desert, and dancing my .... off every Friday and Saturday night, and 1000 yard target shooting, and...

@tiggerrts ...in astro terms Mercury retro happens 3 or 4 times a year, when Mercury passes the earth in its orbit. From Earth, when Mercury rounds the bend, it slows down and appears to stop and spin backward (retrograde). It isn't really spinning backwards, ...it's more like an optical illusion.

In speaking of purely observed behavior vs the scientific theory of repeatedly testing and confirmation through observation and experimentation, it is well known among folks who work in police work, nursing, psychiatric care, EMT's that people do seem to get more active, more erratic, more worked up during a Full moon. So it doesn't seem that far-fetched to me that our nearest planetary neighbor, Mercury might also have some affect.

Getting somewhat :offtopic: here...but I have a good friend who is a Geologist...and I didn't know that the polarity of our Poles reverses like every couple million years....Geologists can witness this is certain rocks.

I find that fascinating.

I hate to tell you this, Katz, but both Venus and Mars are closer to us than Mercury. Both of them also have much larger electro-magnetic fields, which would be the astrological consideration.

The Fogger 4.1 is back up and running with a 1 Ohm dual coil 2.4 mm 7 wrap 30 gauge wicked with rayon.

The Taifun GS is back online with a 1.16 ohm single, 3 mm id 28 gauge 6 wraps. I used Japanese Organic cotton and split the strip so half of each end of the wick rests on the deck, and half is in the juice holes. The reason this bears mentioning is that this tank is typically a dual wick build with ss mesh in the tank feeding a cotton wick in the coil.

The I put a 1.2 ohm 2.5 mm i.d. 28 gauge 6 wrap build an a rayon wrapped ss mesh core in the Caravela. Awesome flavor!

I got to see someone driving the wrong way down a street today. Fortunately, I and about ten other cars were stopped at a red light. The street is divided by a landscaped island and there are no driveways emptying out onto the street between two lights, so they must have turned left from the last light and not gone far enough. Idiots.
