Good evening treefam we had company this week and been running around taking them everywhere

I feel for you, Slow. We just got back from taking my FIL on a harbor excursion and a big seafood dinner. (BTW, Angel, I got the Red Snapper Ranchero just for you! )

I'm so tired it's just not funny and I'm watching toddler grandson for DIL #1 lol

Hopefully you actually like hanging out with your grandchildren. When my son was born, I dropped my daughter (who was 2.5 at the time) with my Mom before driving down to the hospital to meet my wife. I hadn't been there 10 minutes when my Mom called to find out how soon I'd be coming back to pick my daughter up.

Sorry to hear that folks are feeling poorly...tired and worn out..it's hard to take time for "you" in this hectic day and age..at least when there was no electricity, folks would settle in when the sun fell..and stayed more intune with the seasons then they do now. Well..because they had to. Now it takes a conscious effort. And I'd be the first to admit that I know I should be to bed by nine...but like a willful child, I always push it to 10...11..or even later..when I know that blasted alarmclock will still go off same time every day M-F. My way of taking back the time I feel has been cheated me...yeah..sorta like cutting off your nose to spite your face. There's no logic in it. And yet...it's not about logic.
Goodnight all..take some time for "you" this weekend.

yes..@Fuzzy Thunderbear ...to use the cliche..it is one thing to talk the talk..another to walk the walk....I have known musician's who slept on friend's couches and floors as their main residence...but I gotta envy them because they loved making music. Musician's are made of different fabric than you and I...It's like they need to make music like we need to breath. Don't know about you, both I can't right off hand think of any job I've held that I felt that way about

For as many years as my former employers were giving personality tests to key personnel, my results have always been the same: Analyst, Inventor, Highly Interactive. That's because that is who/what I was (and still am): I research/analyze a problem, find a solution or create one, then tell/teach others about it. So my job fit my personality profile perfectly, which is why I loved it so much. I would have done that job even if the salary had been half what it was. I might have drawn the line at sleeping on my neighbor's couch however... I would have slept in my car instead.

Not a fire...steam vents in Yellowstone National Park... gee, it would make a great place for a disaster movie... like maybe 2012.

Well, for me, this is 8/22/15 #1....

Morningnite to you all. I'm sitting in front of a beautiful fire - spent the evening with some amazing friends. Had some adult beverages and drained two batteries with my amazing vapes.
