Might be doing the go to bed early thing again tonight even though it didn't seem to do me any good last night - had trouble falling asleep.

9/3 - 1: The Island of Angel, episode two.
The tree family was tired after that exciting day, and rested for the night; but their minds kept wandering who? The next day as they stir, the new shinny is sitting in a bird cage. What? Up walks Uncle "We are on an island, what did you expect?"
There is a set of footprints in the sand, but not feet... Someone had tiptoed with their shoes off, and on the other side there was a trail of popcorn. Someone agile like Mac, he lived on an island before and knows his way, think some. The guilty dog barks first and was eating popcorn , it must be Count; thought others. There is a sound of pain around the corner, and the people rush to see. It is Bella "Brain freeze" she states while holding up a Slurpee.
When did we get a Slurpee machine, and what happened to the camel?

9/2 - 6: On the Island of Angel, all the family of the tree came to gather. All loving and enjoying each other, in time like it happens there are some things that do no fly with one party or another. So steps in Uncle waving the , with deputy Ranger standing in agreement . Things settle down, and the family is together again. The next day stirs, it is time for tiggs to fix the breaksfast, up early and getting some coffee. The rest stir and some give a , all is good on the Island of Angel. What? there is another problem!! Someone has gone out and purchased some more vapemail. Who is the culprit, what did they do? Some are thinking they know who did and , can it be? It was not me!! Says blue , no doubt how was she framed? So our minds start to wander.... Is there someone in the island that was not part of the tree fam? Should we accept them ; hmm..
The minds of the family start to think together. It was not Shawn , "no he promised" Could it be jpf? are you insane? Then who could it be? Why is there a camel on the island? Who lives on an island, are they suspect?

Good night and wait for episode two.

Had to bring part 1 up so it would be fresh. Wish I could click multiple likes on these.

Good morning, Good morning, Good morning! Yes.. I am a morning person, up before dawn every day - and usually very happy about it, which annoys most people about me. To wake up the kids for school I used to wake them up bouncing on their bed saying Good morning, good morning, good morning in a sing song type voice. I got more pillows thrown at me in my lifetime...

@tiggerrts That was a cute story, you have a gift - its a wonderful thing!

@Uncle I slept beautifully thank you for the good sleep wishes!

It's nice to see so many long marriages here! I am divorced myself, but remarried a wonderful man who is very good to me. He has to leave here for his work week because his work is too far, and I cannot go with him because someone has to be here with my niece. But, hopefully we will get all this straightened out and that this wont be for too terribly much longer, because I miss him terribly when we aren't together.

@Fuzzy Thunderbear Its wonderful to hear good stories coming out of the VA - all we ever hear is negative from most. My sister-in-law works at the VA hospital here, she is an RN and is forever complaining about various hospital policies; disappointed also that the hospital here has lost several good doctors over the last few years. Although what I hear from her is mostly internal and policy oriented, and no matter where you work you will have complaints about policy so I don't know it from the patient perspective in our area. Good to hear about your area!

@Dconnor It looks like you are new to the thread as I am, so hello and nice to meet you!

@Uncle Thanks for putting up with us newbies! I know I for one am enjoying it very much.. you all seem like a nice bunch.

A little tired and a litte excited about today's road trip. I'm hand delivering our competition entries to the Arcola Broomcorn Festival's Annual National Art Broom competition. This is the fourth year... first year, I won first, and Stepdot took fourth. Second year, I won first, Stepdot won second. Last year, I won third, and Stepdot was first. This year, Stepdot is going to win first again... she made a STUNNING broom... I might place... maybe... I got a bit rushed... Still, I think it shows to go ya, we are the #1 broom shop!

Managed to fall asleep for about 30 minutes then got woke up and couldn't get back to sleep - needed a longer nap.

I don't know the first thing about napping since that's something I've never been able to do, unless you consider passing out a nap.

That said, isn't 30 mins considered a nap? How long before a nap is considered full on sleeping?

USPS is going to make a liar out of me today...pout pout...any other time when a package leaves Lehigh (a couple hours away) we get it that same day so I told hubby his package would be here today but some mystery delay has kept it from getting to the local PO so itll be tomorrow...

at least tigg has a good story going o to help eliminate to waiting on vape mail blues...

Good morning!

I thought about this thread when I went for my 2nd cup of coffee this morning. I got to see a nice buck and 2 does in the trees near my barn. This isn't my pic, but it's close enough to what I saw. I love living in the country!

I think one of the tomato plants that I tried to kill twice and brought back to life isn't going to make it. The other, which I also only killed once is 4x's its size...lots of flowers..but no fruit?? ..I can still hope...just sayin my green thumb needs work and I admire those who have one. I got the seeds about 5-6 months ago. Two months in warm dirt and then 4 months in the fridge. Seems all of them sprouted, which is great cause I had a lot of other varieties that I only got one or two and still others which gave me none. Having fun with these trying different fertilizers to see what makes them grow best. If enough live I will sell them in a few years when they get bigger, and give se to friends

@rangerrobin woohoo enjoy your new toy just be sure you verify what the coil is first. I recently won a TAC AR 15 and it hits awesome. I don't care for non regulated mods though so I'm thinking I'm gonna try to trade it for a TC.

@Opinionated i saw the surgeon a week or so ago and he told me nothing can be done, referred me back to my pain dr for more injections and meds. That's the lower back but the stenosis is doing in my neck and hands to the point I cannot do a lot of stuff I want to do. Just fishing for a few hours Monday and I'm still paying for it. I go see my pain dr in a couple weeks and hopefully the epidural will help relieve some of it.
