Finally back from the party and I'm beat and in so much pain but it was worth it my lil man had a blast!! Thanks again for all the suggestions, over the last three years we've tried almost everything and she never makes it a day!! I believe like I said earlier I think she needs to decide if she's ready to quit smoking. We all know you can't quit for anyone but yourself. I just really want her to quit so bad!!!!

Received 200' of 28 gauge 430 Stainless Steel wire today. Popped the first coil, but the second coil worked well. Between that and 100' of 30 and 100' of 28 gauge Ni200, and 100' of Ti#1, I'm all kinds of set when I get my TFV4 and SMOK XCUBE II :) Well, after I order the RBA decks, anyways...

I don't know there, Shawn.... It is not technically something that is used to maintain your use of your existing vapes (they work just fine without it)--but the other side of the coin is that it is not something that you vape on (i.e. a mod or a topper). Tough call...

Dinner time for me. Good night, Treefam!

27 which it could do at any minute.jpg

Just running around the countryside again, popped into northern California... this is Castle Rocks again. Wish I had the guts to go up that one... imagine the view from up there.

Congrats @Ken1979 !

Thank You Glassmanoak for giving Us a place to share and call home for another week! Thanks for another great contest!

Thank You Uncle for keeping us in line for another week!

Was a long day at work today, I'm tired.

@Fuzzy Thunderbear my story about starting to vape is a bit different than most but the same as many.
I went and got my first ecig back in the beginning of January 2011 because my son wanted to try them to quit smoking, I had no desire to quit. The owner of the shop gave us deal if we bought 2 Dse901 cigalike kits so I thought it might be nice not to have to go outside to smoke all the time in the freezing winter weather. A upgrade to a ego style kit and tank, then to a vv box mod and I was down to 2 cigarettes a day by July of the same year. One morning I got up to take the dogs out and grabbed my mod instead of a cig. Didn't have another one till September of that same year when I started smoking a couple cigs a day till around Thanksgiving or Christmas, since then I haven't smoked at all. I was using 30mg juice for almost 2 years, anytime I tried to decrease the nic I found myself craving real smoke so I just kept my nic level high, to me it was better than smoking. I have since lowered my level down to 8mg with the help of more efficient devices, namely the subtank mini.
It's a different path for everyone but hopefully taking us to the same place, smoke free. Some it takes longer than others, some it doesn't work at all for. If I had the equipment available back then I have available now it might not have taken me so long to quit but it probably would have because I didn't ever intend on quitting, it just happened.
I glad today to be able to say I haven't smoked cigarettes in almost 4 years. People have asked me when I'm going to quit vaping but my answer is the same as back then about smoking, I have no intention to quit. I enjoy it, but who knows what the future will bring.
Sorry to all the Tree Family Members who have heard this story before but that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

2.
Had another long, busy day. My vapemail from TX actually arrived on time. First time ever. My China vapemail stopped tracking once it got to London so I have no idea where it's at. I figure it'll be here sometime next week.

I finally got around to trying the Starre Pro tank my friend sent me.. that is one heck of a tank. It only came with temp. control coils and man, that thing rocks. Flavor is outstanding and clouds.. clouds for days, even with the airflow closed to halfway. I have a ton of tanks, I love tanks, but usually I say a tank is a tank is a tank when it comes to the sub-ohm tanks. Some I like better than others but I usually can't tell the difference in flavor. This one has me excited, I can tell the difference between this one and some of my other tanks. It is a thirsty little thing though. I blew through a tank of juice in about 20 mins.

About quitting smoking.. my hubby is one that hasn't been able to stop smoking. He says he wants to and he's tried vaping, even vaped at work for a few months, but he was unable to stop smoking. I've bought tons of different flavors for him and I have a small vape shop worth of different tanks and devices and none of them have helped him quit. I've tried everything and nothing worked, he just wont stop smoking so I gave up. It's a matter of him wanting to quit and not giving into the cigarettes. I can't help him, I've tried. I'm one of the ones that stopped smoking instantly when I vaped for the first time, after smoking heavily for 30+ years.

Thanks for the story and I will pass it along. I am not pushing my sister to quit all at once because I didn't, even though my wife stopped immediately. But she (Wifey) was looking for a way to quit and I really didn't care one way or the other. But now (three months later), I find vaping infinitely more enjoyable and just as fulfilling of my "need." There was a contest thread somewhere here a couple months back in which everyone told their vaping story. I am sure it is buried in the archives somewhere, but I have not found it since. I'd like my sister to be able to read all those stories because many of them were very good.

About quitting smoking.. my hubby is one that hasn't been able to stop smoking.
As you say, unless he wants to quit, it ain't gonna happen, no matter how much pressure the spouse applies (or with sissy, the long-distance brother). I tried all the flavors my wife tried and I didn't find anything that tripped my trigger. Oh, most all of them were good, but none of them made me want to quit smoking. I finally did find one that tasted so good, provided just the right amount of heat in my baby iStick (almost like a cigarette), and I get the same sized cloud of vapor that I got of smoke from the stinkies. But, Bella, HE will have to be the one to find it for himself. If Lannie had pushed me, I would have pushed back; I don't want anyone to try to force me to do anything. But I found it myself, so it worked.

30 Stonehenge from the hill.jpg

Wandering to the other end of the state, and just across the Columbia River into Washington, we found a replica of Stonehenge. I had been to the real one in England, so found this to be undersized and too complete, but still a fun visit.

Yup, as Uncle said, it's that time of day (or rather, night) and gotta go off to dreamland soon, so goodnight to the TreeFam and we'll be back on the morrow...

29 looking down on smaller pillars.jpg

This is the top of a pinnacle called Steins Pillar, looking down on it. It is several hundred feet tall. The hike was just over three miles from the fire road where we parked to this point. The problem was that I did it with a cane and two very bad knees (I left my brain at home that day). Luckily, I was with two ladies and they had to help hold me up to hobble the three miles back to the car, but it was worth the pain. That leaves only a zillion things left to see on this Earth before my adventure is complete.

EDIT: Wifey informed me that I had the mileage wrong. She said the sign at the trailhead said it was 3.8 miles. Well, that's "just over three miles," isn't it? :) OK, so round-trip was 7.6 miles instead of 6. Sigh...
