Still haven't recovered totally from the long hot work day, so here's more snow. Believe it or not, where I am standing is 10 feet above the ground. This is a typical snowdrift around here in winter and, given the highest fence is just five feet tall -- most at three feet -- anyone can just walk out, so sometimes I have to build fences on top of the fences, which makes a real mess if there is a rapid snow melt. Highest drift I have measured here so far is 18 feet deep. Even with my old Bobcat, I can't keep this place cleared in winter.

Just got home from the funeral. Still folks hanging out and probably will be until late tonight - that's normal here. Didn't have the full blown affair which was good for most - still a lot but easier to get through.
