I am using the GS tank with it....as soon as I empty it I will finish off what's in the Phazer and then take it apart and see if I can loosen it up.....I have an extra coil and a 5 pack that came with it so I might just change it and see.....but with my small hands I have to put my pinky under it to support it and it's actually a little painful.....I am also using the battery pretty fast...I need to adjust some settings again and see if I can change that...

Good Morning TreeFam! I sure hope everyone is feeling a bit better today. Everyone here at Love Acres is up and doing their normal routines except Bandit (mommy cow) who still doesn't want to eat anything, so she's not making much milk, so we had to put baby Crystal on her older sister so she could get something in her belly and stop crying. For the moment, all is well. Gotta give Bandit some shots today to try to get her back to "normal."

I am glad to see someone else cares as much about animals as I do....I love them all and we are here on this planet to take care of them.
I'm pretty sure my current mission is to take care of any animal (humans are animals too) and tree that is within my range and ability to care for. Unlike so many other farmers or ranchers who care only for those that will make them a profit, I tend to the needs of all. Love Acres is not a profit-making farm; we sell nothing. That means, in order to have healthy happy cows to give us milk to drink (or chickens to lay eggs for us to eat), we operate at a loss (-ROI - negative return on investment). The costs of feed and medicines keeps me continually broke, but we will continue as long as we can because we love our extended family.

500 bales to buck, haul, unload and stack. Sigh...
I think that should be a HEAVY sigh, Shawn. :) Our hay supplier moved from small squares (average 60-pound bales) to 4'x4'x6' bales, so now when he brings a trailer-load out, they have to be unloaded and put in the barn via Bobcat (with prongs instead of bucket). Makes the stacking easier (my back can no longer handle "bucking" hay anyway), but using them is more difficult due to size and shape. Luckily, they are still gralf (grass-alfalfa mix) because my spoiled animals won't eat just plain grass anymore.

And a BIG HOWDY to our latest Tree Peeps @olscratchy , @LoLoThatIsMe123 , @x-23 , and @Jesse Wright

@Fuzzy Thunderbear
I appreciate your objective observance of your symptoms/occurences. I have had co-workers who avoid EMF (?) signals like the plaque...
Here's some interesting info about why the AC in the electrical circuitry we use everyday is more dangerous than DC current..(Tiggs and the rest of you "Sparkys" and EMT/Med folks, bear with me..:)

How AC affects the body depends largely on frequency.
Low-frequency (50- to 60-Hz) AC is used in US (60 Hz) and European (50 Hz) households
It can be more dangerous than high-frequency AC and is 3 to 5 times more dangerous than DC of the same voltage and amperage.
Low-frequency AC produces extended muscle contraction (tetany), which may freeze the hand to the current's source, prolonging exposure.
DC is most likely to cause a single convulsive contraction, which often forces the victim away from the current's source.[MMOM]
AC's alternating nature has a greater tendency to throw the heart's pacemaker neurons into a condition of fibrillation, whereas DC tends to just make the heart stand still.
Once the shock current is halted, a "frozen" heart has a better chance of regaining a normal beat pattern than a fibrillating heart.
This is why "defibrillating" equipment used by emergency medics works: the jolt of current supplied by the defibrillator unit is DC, which halts fibrillation and gives the heart a chance to recover.

So we ARE affected by electrical/electricity...as it affects our muscle contractions/neurons..
In fact, science has a hard time 'splainin' exactly WHAT electricity IS...and its use is so widespread. o_O
Nikola Tesla had some REALLY interesting theories and plans to use electricity....
There are ideas that he can up with some mind blowing projects, but halted them abruptly...some think..because he was afraid of the "Dark Side" of Science's tendency to misuse , instead of use for the Good.

I occasionally get a high pitched tone in one or both ears..that doesn't last for more than a minute and then goes away...it could be physiological...but I also often wonder if I might be picking up some errant frequency wave ???
I mean ..if Gilligan could pick up radio stations in his teeth, than why not a high pitched tone in my ear?? :D
Don't you ever marvel that radio signals are all around us?? But that with the simple act of turning on a "switch" we are able to hear them??...or static...or nothing at all if the "switch " is "off" ...hmmmmm...does it mean the signals have "gone away" ...or are they still there...we are just not able to "hear" them. i.e. dog whistles...i.e. gubmint experiments with ultra-low frequency...etc...etc...i.e..HAARP experiments with weather..

I am glad you are having any physical eye problems ruled out, @Fuzzy Thunderbear ....As a note, I have a friend who was told by her optometrist to start wearing good quality sunglasses outside , as she spent ALOT of time out in bright sunlight and was starting to develope cataracts as a result...and she has brown eyes...I have blue and am EXTREMELY sensitive to light..don't go out without sunglasses...Snowblindness in AK is a real danger...even a slit cut in cardboard is better than nothing. I would subscribe to science over probability (someone targeting you) in this instance...thou there are ways to "protect" yourself ("shielding" _).... ( ...no..not a foil hat! ...that's taking it literally ...this is figurative reality :)) ...as best you can...
Well..promised hosts I would fixer up some small things around the house today while they are at work....don't wanna see their loooong faces if they come home and find I have been doing nothing else but get sucked into blathering on threads ...lol...and nothing else :(
Sides...I am enjoying myself and hope to be invited back again sometime...so off to woik I go...Have a good Day, Peeps

PIF to @Slowone2

Battery life on the D2 is much better in power mode, only been through 1 battery so far today and I changed it out way before it was done because we're getting ready to go to the Dr's.
Fuzzy my sister does the same thing but she has horse's instead of cows. Her farm keeps her pretty broke too but she does it because of her love for the animals.

Good to hear, it's doing better in power mode. Have you found out if it was normal for TC mode to use so much battery?

afternoon all!

@jpf880 @liblue1 I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your new stuffs!! jpf my d2 eats through batteries fast than our other mods...that's why hubby quit using it almost as fast as he started, while he was using it I got the same new baby as blue. Its a little bigger than any that Ive used before but luckily its not causing me any issue (sorry blue I was hoping yours would be 'perfect' for you)

this maybe my only appearance tonight...later it gets the sadder I get and the more I want to hide

shawn and fuzzy I hope you get your needed rest

everyone else, I'm sorry I'm getting foggy brained but you are in my prayers

I have had co-workers who avoid EMF (?) signals like the plague...
Your Body’s Electrical System and the Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation on its Functions (written by me, peer reviewed, published in 2006) available to anyone who wants it by PMing me your e-mail address. It's PDF and I can't post 60 pages to this thread.

I suspect many of us animal lovers are in the same boat. We haven't ridden our horses for years, so they really are nothing more than pasture bums now, but we wouldn't get rid of them because they just... sorta... belong here. Horus, my Arab gelding, won't even let anyone get near him with tack anymore, but he always comes up to me for scritches and pets and begging for treats.

9/22 - 3: My boss was to give me my Friday paycheck on Monday, did not happen. Then promised it to me three times today, never happened; he was trying to use it again to keep me working late for no reason. I left when I said I would to get to the bank anyway, and ignored his call.

Your right Katz about the frequency and effects on people. You should look into what smart meters are doing to people and how it sends out its "signal" bad stuff, and I highly encourage anybody to opt out of smart meters especially if they have children or someone who is already ailing.

I tried to "opt out" when our local co-op electric company said they were going to replace all meters with smart meters. They let me know, in no uncertain terms, that if I didn't accept the smart meter, I would no longer have electricity. I cannot afford to take them to court.

No..I did not know this...Like many of us..we are in the dark about so much, because we are WAY too over tired, over busy, over tecked to keep up with many things, let alone things that are bad for us.
@Fuzzy Thunderbear ..one day there may be a class action suit...thats' about as cheap as lawyers get, unless you find one who's willing to do "pro bono", or fee only- if- you- win type agreement.

@tiggerrts ...is there no other way than to let yourself be degraded and humiliated this way. I do not like your boss. He takes from you,...he tears down.. he does not build up.. what is the true cost.
