Getting in some 'puter time while I have my mornin' coffee and GMO's own Banyan Tree ...yum!
@Fuzzy Thunderbear ....for me it always came down to feeling like I did what I could..and you have, my friend...I am pretty sure that beef farmer , who sees his stock much differently than you or I... would be out of a job if he did. I think that is why our culture has "others" who carry out the slaughter, butchering, etc. Slaughtering is not my thing..but butchering I can do as a living legacy to my own father, who was a butcher. (Tho he would shake his head at my "hatchet job" as he never considered passing his handiwork down to me.)
I did not grow up "on the farm"..I'm an urban kitt in redneck German clothing .. ....but I spent time on dairy farms and Alaskan ranches...mayb one day I will share the pic of me petting a momma sow..who is plopped down at the doorstep to my friends' cabin...suckling her piglets! Mostly I have seen / assisted with birth/after-birth difficulties in goats...or things like mastitis..bloat...So I share your sorrow. My cats are my extended family...too bad they don't make rouladen and sauerbraten like Ma does (Attempt to inject a bit of comic relief) In any case, @Fuzzy Thunderbear and @Lannie ...and all others here ..thinking of their loved ones...I send Love, Light ....
Off to visit other neighborhoods before I start in on my "room and board" chores

Good morning treefam.. Weather is not playing nice with me again today. On a better note, even though I am scared to death about needles I am going to see an acupuncturist today... I know I'm gonna pass out during it but if he/she can relieve some of the pain,,, well I have to try

I'm scared of needles too! So, I was very surprised how unscary and healing acupuncture can be. Good luck and good vibes. Please let us know how it goes.

My fear of needles was greatly enhanced when I was 14 and had broken my elbow. They needed to draw blood before surgery and sent what I can only presume to have been a first year medical student to do it. After eight attempts at finding my vein, someone else took over. Ugh.

I have no problem giving shots at all its getting that doese in. I was in a car accident in 91 and spent the next ten years having every procedure done to try to figure out why the pain and headaches never went away. Then at a business event I met am acupuncturist and he invitede to try. Three super tiny needles and out I went. My second visit I had to convince him to try again with the needles... Yup passed out again lol. Pain in my neck and headaches were totally gone and stayed that way up until this last car accident. I was shocked how two visits with him and he accomplished what dozens of doctors could not. Biggest thing was I really considered acupuncture as a form of"witch doctor" medicine and totally fake. He told me if he could not help at least a little in five visits not to bother coming back.

Yup I believe now and actually have more faith in acupuncture then most doctors

Slow good luck on the acupuncture.....while it's not exactly my "cup of tea"....there is a good chance that it may help relieve some or all of the pain.....especially since you believe in it more......
JPF, Anjel, JP, Fuzzy & Lannie healing energy being sent...........I was so saddened to hear that last night.....but as you said if you have done all you can do...then you know you did the right thing..........

On a separate much lighter note....

I think the post office up here has started holding up my mail...a month ago when I had a package in bound from point a to point b (point a being just a couple hours away) and it left point a I would have it that same day. mail leaves there between 430 and 5, gets here a couple hours later and I got it a couple hours after that...fast forward to now and I literally have a 50/50 shot at getting it the same day...today I got one that wasn't even on the list but DID NOT get the two that should have hit town at 6 am lol...I think they maybe starting to hate me between vapemail and starting to order Christmas stuff....silly usps...delays will not stop my mail flow... I wont be doing anymore vape related shopping for a while but its time to start doing the real holiday shopping!! and I wont have that shipped home because I know those little stinkers will open it!

I know around here during the holidays the mail actually get better.....that just goes to show that they can do it right and on time(or faster) than they do the rest of the year....I also know that they deliberately slow down/hold items because they want us to think they need more money.......... so just like always it's a crap shoot.........you might just get a 7 or 11...or you might not.....
