I suppose I should stop messin' with the computer for awhile and get my buns outside. That new baby calf last night means I have to do some fence mending and stall cleaning today.

It is a beautiful day, the dew is on the leafs; the sound of rain the night before was pleasant. Everyone was holding their favorite in their arms. The Sun came up and shown itself in splendor, what a beautiful sight. Breakfast was being cooked, mmm. it smelled so good on the fire. Bacon, eggs, toast, fruits; and more.

I'm being a total slug today! I even put off laundry until next weekend, which is totally out of character for me.

glad I'm not the one being extra slug-y to day...I actually slept all day which is really really weird for me

Back from the barn. Cow pen fence is fixed, the chickens broke the ramp into their coop, so that had to be reattached, then filled the chicken bin (raw wheat), then brought in dog meat (cow parts) to put in the kitchen freezer. Wifey scooped out the calf stall while I was doing all that other stuff (thanks SweetTart) and I'll put new pine shavings in it before we put the new baby to bed tonight.

Not very happy with Ben & Jerry's right now. All the local and regional news, morning shows, newspapers, magazines, etc., have been talking about the new Texas only flavor the last few days. I'm at the grocery store today, and nope, they don't have it, checked at another store and nothing there either. I get home and check their website and use their "Flavor Locator" and can't find it anywhere. Their little press release states it's already on store shelves, but apparently no one has it. Major fail by B&J, all the free press around the new product and it's no where to be found.
