9/24 - 4: TIOA, sns 2 eps. 7: The storm was finally starting to die down. Everyone had been up all day and night, watching, listening and waiting. As the storm began to pass and there was only hard rain and wind for the most part, sleepiness began to fall upon all. Everyone was snuggling close to their fires and with the patter of rain, one by one eyes closed shut until everyone was sleeping. Off in the distance, had anyone been looking, as a few last lightning flashes stroke a large boat with masts and sails was moving across the horizon.

Trying to decide what I'm having for dinner tonight and what to vape.....

9/24 - 5: TIOA sns 2 eps 8: The clean up after the storm was hard, hand tools only. Tiggs was asked how long to fix the downed lines "I think about a week, with no power tools" Thankfully one thing on hand was solar paneling, so the fridges still worked and there was a way for some hot water. Just enough to decide if you wanted to wash dishes or take a shower. The day was long, many trees that fell were being sawed down, the good news plenty of fire wood. This continued for a few days and all were getting tired.

At the end of the third day as each retired to their own homes, Angel went to her house and ate some food. "Oh I am so tired, a shower will feel nice." Angel prepared for the shower, but something in the back of her head said someone was watching.

Well I spent almost two hours with the dr and he did not seem very optimistic about doing me any good. He did stick me all over and I have another appointment Monday. Today did me no good at all but I gotta give it a few to see. Course today was bad to begin with due to the weather. My pain is very weather dependent and we have rain until at least monday

Celebrated my dad's birthday last night. Got home late then we played fallout new Vegas. Me and the boyfriend are trying to finish it before fallout 4 comes out. Today has been a lazy day, actually slept for most of it.. When we did get up we went to the comic store.. Now I'm trying to finish dreading my bf's hair... It's so tedious lol!

9/24 - 6: TIOA ses 2 ep 9: The next days work was like usual, hard. Each gathered together to help. Breakfast was a little less than usual, lunch a little better. Blood, sweat and tears. All working happily with each other through the day... at the end of the day Uncle who is always watching said "Where has Angel been?" The group discussed this and no one had seen her all day.

Oddly enough, I am feeling very good these last couple days. I've been staying up to around 1 am, getting up at 8 am, working hard all day, coming home and working some more (hay loading and unloading). Maybe hard work is good for the soul after all!

Hope everyone else gets to feeling better, too...

Long day at work today knowing that Wifey was home not doing good. Just got home , had to stop and pick up a few things at a store, Wifey had spilled her chocolate milk on the floor and didn't realize it so it was all over. Thank goodness for hardwood floors, made the clean up a little easier than the carpet in the old place.

@tiggerrts the story is very good! Hmmmmm I wonder if the boat had anything to do with Angel?

Well, we got a bit of a surprise when we went out for evening chores. Helen (another of Bandit's girls, Cricket's younger sister) had her baby a full week earlier than expected, probably because of all the stress around here the past few days. As I predicted, it was a baby bull. Now, normally, the boys do not get it when you point them at the teats and they are pretty wobbly for a day or two. He found the udder quicker than a girl would have, filled his tummy, and within an hour, was already doing the calf hop dance around the pen. Amazing little fella. Then he curled up next to his mommy and went to sleep. I'm gonna have a hard time figuring out which to love the most: Cryssie (who is now five days old) or this brand new baby bull (who we have not named yet, but likely will be Thor or Sir Loin or something equally silly). Anyway, all this happened at sunset, so you'll have to wait for tomorrow to get pix.

And a reasonable thought too. Helen's previous bull baby was named Loki because he really was the epitome of "the trickster." This one is brave, strong, smart... that's kinda why I was thinking Thor. Then there is always the old saw about birthing babies... mama said it really made her thor...
